This is a great place to have an event or a large party. Proper family run venue with the wife running the kitchen and the husband running front of house with his daughter the food quality and decoration is unimaginable. The service is top notch. As a team they are always looking to help out every party member when assistance is needed. Good selection of drinks too. Lovely outside dining area with the option for outside catering as they have the facilities. Massive car park and a very quiet location close to the M3 just outside of Basingstoke. They really made me happy when I visited. Totally recommend this place.
Just had Mother's Day lunch and
I can’t remember the last time I had such an absolutely lovely meal . The food was good quality and well cooked. The staff happy and courteous and we were not rushed at all. We will be going back as soon as.

Had the most fabulous lunch for 7 at The Fur and Feathers. A surprise oasis of sublimely delicious food. Seasonal ingredients featured highly on the menu and all food was obviously home made from chutneys to puddings with a lot of effort put into every dish.
Would recommend highly.
Great service as always. The pie was perfect, beautiful crust! Delicious filling and plenty of it. Burger was best in class and very well presented.
We went for a drive out and came across this absolute gem of a find!!! The staff were lovely, log fire was on and the place was busy for 1300 on a Tuesday. Great selection of gins and wines, good beer on tap along with your normal lagers. The food I must say was hard to choose from, in the end we went with burgers and they were amazing!!

All I can say is WOW ... taste of this food is amazing 👏... only a few pointers to take them to 5 stars... kids roast had no vegetables at all , we did ask and they never arrived , very pricey so would expect the delivery to be 100 % . Also no kids puddings choices.. which can end up very very expensive when you have 4 kids. So other than these points, great food and nice place , would highly recommend. But as times are getting harder people will expect to have moneys worth . And charging what they do for the kids not to have veg is not really exceptable also 2 lots of veg between 10 people is very poor for nearly a £ 20 roast .
Moored up out boat just outside the village. We went into the pub to ask if we could have a take away They said of course so the team cooked up our selections from the menu and we brought the back to eat on the boat. Thanks to the staff the food was delicious.
We were in the area and they managed to fit us in(despite it being a busy Sunday lunch!). The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was very relaxing and comfortable. All of the food came out quickly and was delicious. All round pleasant experience, they seemed to have everything running very smoothly. I cannot praise the staff enough, will definitely return.
