Ideal location in the heart of town centre. Short walk from train station so quite handy as after travel meal. Decent menu options, plethora of drinks as well as some variety with fries. Lots of options in extra toppings as well as sauces. Very friendly staff. Cool branded packaging for take away along with branded tissue and towel. Good portion sizes.

So I decided to give this place another ago and was pleased with the decision.
What was noticeably different?
The food was hot! The last time I tried it (see below) the food was lukewarm/cold. But I decided to actually dine in and the food arrived hot - although, I'd still say that the food could be cooked to a hotter temperature next time. Not quite show why it is that they keep on insisting on serving food below piping hot temperatures.
Nonetheless, overall dine in experience was great.
I've given them 4 stars as my latest review - it would've been 5 but the food needs to hotter next time!

The food tasted good, as far as Kebabs go, this is the cleanest version of a kebab I've had. The portion sizes were fantastic, really value for money and menu is straightforward.

Food took a little longer to prepare, which wasn't a problem (even though I got there on time).
#Customer service
The team member who served me was very helpful and courteous, without fault.
***So why only 3 stars...?***
Well, the food was lukewarm which baffled me, since I was waiting for my food to be prepared when I got to the store. By the time I got home (7 minutes drive back) the food was lukewarm, which was really disappointing and a massive letdown. Had the food been piping hot (as it's meant to be!) then the flavours would've really come through and it would've been much more enjoyable!
The chips were again cold and slightly dry, so made me wonder how long the chips had been sitting there before being served π€
(One of the chips (out of 3) was freshly made as I saw it, and that actually tasted fine :)
Would I go back again...?
I'd probably give them another ago, but not after a month or so had passed, since they're still a fairly new business, so teething problems, etc.
I'd definitely recommend them if you haven't tried them already, you may have a better experience with the food served temperature.
fresh warm chicken scraps, with fresh vegetables, 3 sauces: garlic, yoghurt and spicy. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick service, clean tables. I ran out of fresh cucumber in the salad, the sauces were not very expressive in taste, but the taste was correct. The family is full, we will remember fondly. Ps: update the google restoration position because it is closer to the Mall entrance
As usual a stunning mixed meat donor kebab!!! So tasty and fresh!! Sauces are fantastic and the red cabbage inside was so fresh!! Definitely best kebab I have ever had you have got to try it and a steal at 8.99 for a meal including a glass bottle of coke and some very tasty fries!
Wow what a major change, I ordered from here last year and was shocked on the poor portion size but thought I would give this place another chance and honestly what a turn around. Great portion size and everything tasted fresh and great π definitely have won me over.
It was the first time for us to try German Doner Kebab, we ordered chicken wrap ( Doner Durum wrap ), it was delicious β€ full of chicken as we ordered, it reminded me of ( Shawerma ) in my country. the flaming fries were good as well .. we definitely will try it again ..
Brought a Gym Box tonight, the "new guy" did a great job. Nice char and caramelisation to the meat, one of the best I've had there yet and I go when im in town from time to time. Basingstoke is really good for food and this is another example.
Ordered direct from them. Perfect and food was fresh and hot. Well packed and delivery was quick delivery person very polite

So far I tried traditional dorner and dorner box. Both of them met my expectations.
Both times food was served very fast <3 minutes of waiting time.
Personnel is very nice.
Generally I am happy with the service.

I just love it. You can get Fitnnes box (meat and vegetables) or with french fries or regular one. It is also tidy and nice personnel. I always come here when in Basingstoke
We visited GDK in basingstoke today and was delighted with the service we recieved. Staff were super friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely amazing, the beef doner was the best I've tried, the sauces were brilliant as was all the sides. Incredibly good value and well worth the visit
Thanks so much to Radu and his team for helping me and my dog settle out the rain and have something to eat after been stranded for nearly 3 hour due to storm and all trains been canceled for the day.
The gym box was super fresh and tasty.
