Nice restaurant! We went in without having a reservation and they were able to seat us quickly. The staff was nice, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was nice. You have to go in through the side door and wait to be seated. It was a nice dinner. Thank you, Joya!

This restaurant was a great find. The staff were very warm, welcoming and couldn’t be more helpful. A truly unique experience, cooking the best steaks we have ever had on the hot stones. There was also a good choice of side dishes. We had a lovely table with comfy seats. Would certainly recommend to others and would visit again.

This place gets a solid 3.5 - 3.8. The place is beautiful. However, the food was just okay. My server was very nice, but there also seemed to be a young man in training who was making several mistakes. I had to ask hin more than once to charge for my meal. If I wasn't an honest person, the restaurant would've missed out on some money. I might consider visiting again just for the atmosphere. My drink was good.

I am STILL thinking about this meal days later. Every single aspect of the meal was completely delicious. The focaccia was fresh, crunchy and chewy. The steaks were mouthwatering, tender and juicy. Of course the tiramisu was perfection, I wanted to ask for several to take home! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go out of my way to come here again! :)

The food and dining experience was amazing. We had Giovanni and a couple of other staff tend to us. The steak was delicious and we had the option to cook on hot stone. The staff were tentative, friendly and went above and beyond for us. They took the table outside as it was the hottest day of the year. Would highly recommend.

Sicilian breadcrumbed chicken , olives, focaccia, dip, pinot . Fabulous food and very professional and welcoming service. One of the best Italian meals I have had since eating in Noto.

Expensive, but worth it - probably the best steak I’ve ever eaten. Had the Flat Iron, kitchen cooked it medium (didn’t want to cook on hot plate and have smoke blowing in our faces) with rosemary salt, garlic butter and peppercorn sauce. Ate the whole thing before even touching the fries. Absolutely delicious, will be back shortly for another!

We had a great experience at Joya. Their prices are a bit on the steep side unless you get pasta, with a gratuity added at the end of the bill too. No sides are included. However, the food is very tasteful and well prepared, with fantastic flavour combinations and superb presentation. If you come, you might have the joy and luck of meeting dental nurse Debbie, who serves the tables. She served ours, and made sure our experience was marvellous. With a bright smile that lits up the room, affection and care, Debbie is one of the best waitresses I've met in my many years.

I can highly recommend the filler steak on the volcanic hot plate experience. The meat is so very tender and undoubtedly of the best quality

Food was absolutely amazing with second to none service as we were only 2 people in the place. When we have been before its always been busy. By the time we left place was filling up.

We had amazing experience of cooking our own steak on hot stone. We had to order second steak because it is delicious. Drinks and dessert are amazing. The waiter and waitress are knowledgeable about the food they served. Me and my partner had amazing time. We are putting this restaurant as one of our favourite place to go.

I can't describe how amazing the meals we had were this evening, all 3 courses were superb. The service was excellent as well, very efficient and everyone was really friendly and had a smile on their face. The best meal we've had in Bath by far. Would definitely recommend.

Birthday celebration! Thank you to Joya’s Team (Mel, Shinshan and Givonni) for a very special treat and surprise balloon for us! Service was very friendly, attentive and looked after us extremely well. The team bought us a birthday cake with candles and sung wonderfully! Highly recommend for anyone who looking for a special occasion or wanting an authentic Italian meal or unique hot stone steak. Thank you so much! See you again soon.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in a while. Food is cooked to order with fresh and high quality ingredients. We were particularly impressed with the steak and seafood. Also recommend the chocolate cake for dessert - very big portion but it is so light you can easily finish it and be asking for seconds.

Lovely little Italian restaurant with a good selection of classic pastas and dishes. Also has a good variety of steaks that can been cooked by the chef or brought out on a hot stone. I opted for the chef to cook medium rare but came out more medium well, nevertheless it was a good cut of meat and tasty. Food is ok the slightly pricier end of the spectrum but the service and overall was worth it.

Taking a leisurely boat ride on the Avon, I asked the very informative Captain for lunch suggestions and he recommended Joya.

Walked in with no real expectations but ended up having a nice meal in a very relaxed atmosphere. The 2 ladies holding the fort were polite and friendly.

I ordered the soup of the day and grilled prawns. My son went for spaghetti bolognese.

The Mediterranean soup was okay, tasted a bit like thickened pizza sauce. The grilled king prawns were fab as was the pasta. For dessert, ordered the lemon sorbet and creme brulee. The latter was ordered after confirming that it would not disappoint. True to her word, it did not and nor did the excellent 3 scoops of sorbet.

At GBP 25pp walked out very satisfied.
