Amazing restaurant, beautiful food, very calming atmosphere. Very Nepalese vibe throughout. Servers were incredibly friendly, and it was really affordable. Absolutely delicious with really good quality food, and dishes. 100% will come back! Impossible to rate it any higher on food, atmosphere, quality or service. It was perfect.

Delicious menu and very friendly service in this cosy restaurant. The waitress had kindly recommended their signature Yak Yeti Yak lamb and Chilli chicken, both dishes were to die for! Great Nepalese beer and loved the Momos too. This was our favourite dinner during our short weekend in Bath and I would come back in a heartbeat.

We ate here twice in the last week. We really enjoyed the food and the service. Would definitely recommend. We tried the pork, chicken, rice and sauces.

The food is very flavourful and has a great balance between rice, daal, and main dish. The sides, momos, are a must try!
Service was quick and staff was friendly. I definitely recommend trying the pillow seats for the full experience.

We had a great meal at Yak Yeti Yak on Sunday. Every dish was delicious. We couldn’t decide which was our favourite! Two people are vegetarians, and there was plenty of choice for them.
Service was very attentive. They couldn’t do enough for us.

Offers amazing Nepalese food. Highly recommend the Pork momos and Yak yeti yak lamb (can be quite hot). Cute space and friendly staff. Advance booking is suggested as they get very busy.

Yak Yeti Yak is something of a Bath institution, and with good reason. The food is fresh, original and delicious. We shared three starters and two main courses with rice, and all of them were excellent. Service is friendly, efficient and helpful (if your waiter tells you something is very spicy, they aren't kidding!) Highly recommended.

We heard so many people praising this unique Nepalese restuarant at Bath. We also decided to try them, we had Pork momos for starters, Kathmandu cooler and Rum doodle punch for drinks. Mains we had Set menu yay yeti yak lamb with rice and dal, Nepalese fried rice and chicken chilli. It was quite good quantity for two people and we were really full. Food reminded us of home food , special mention to nice cutlery and quite interesting decorations were seen inside restaurant. It's worth a try to explore Nepalese cuisine.

Delicious and authentic food, though slightly too salty at times. Momos and lassi were my favourites. Staff also very warm and friendly and it’s pretty good £ value.

Great food, and a little bit different from the usual fare. We had lamb and pork for our mains. Both well spiced, very tasty and quite different from each other. The carrot dessert was quite interesting too, worth trying! There are plenty of veggie options which I'll be tucking into next time

2023 Update: Four years later, I'm Bath again and decided to eat here. It was still delicious. I had the vegetable momos and a spiced green bean and broccoli dish (I can't remember the name). I did think that the drinks were a bit pricey: I had a spiced black tea that was 8 quid. The environment was nice, and I would recommend it again.

I had a great experience here. They were able to seat me on a busy night despite not having booked. The food was excellent. When I was leaving, I saw a couple trying to decide to go in, and I highly encouraged them to try it. I'm encouraging you now!

We were looking for somewhere to grab a quick meal in Bath on a Sunday night & came across Yak Yeti Yak. A quick check & they had a table, result. The staff were friendly and the place had a good atmosphere. We went for some Pork Mo Mos to start but all the starters were tempting though. Mains wise we went for two set mains Yak Yeti Yak Lamb and Yak Yeti Yak Beef. The set mains came with rice & a Dahl. They were dry curries and you are asked how spicy you like it.
Had a pint of everest to wash it all down with.
Was very delicious and a welcome change from a Sunday roast.

It's my first time trying Nepalese food.
The pork was spicy and good with rice.
I also love the dessert, carrot with cinnamon flavour.
Also, the service was friendly here.
Wanna try different food next time!

Visited with friends and the food was excellent. The service staff are very friendly and efficient, we were well looked after.
They have a good sized menu with some specials.
You can eat at a normal table or a low table with cushions.

Super cozy and the food was delicious. Best experience eating out we’ve had in Bath. If you’re here with others, I would definitely recommend getting the mix-and-match like we did, because you’ll want to try out as many of these dishes as you can! It’s also really vegetarian/vegan friendly.

Finally we got a chance to visit this amazing Nepalese restaurant in Bath. Every year we visit UK from Sydney, we have tried to go there but wasn’t very lucky.
We managed to get a table today (22/07/2022).
We ordered different dishes. It was amazing. Never had such an exquisite tasting lamb before. We just loved the Yak Yeti Yak lamb. TBH we haven’t had this delicious Nepalese curries in Australia.
The chicken chilly was so yummy and fine, we ordered hot and spicy as we fancied.
The serving size was also decent. Could order according to the price guides too, which was good.
Thanking the chefs!!
The only downside was the steps. As we had a pram- we had to carry the pram downstairs- one of the staffs assisted my husband carrying the pram down. Not an ideal location for someone on a wheelchair and baby prams.
Would definitely visit again next time when we are back in Bath.
Namaste 🙏

We were transported into a different world while sitting in the middle of Bath! This place is a vibe. We loved the simple, freshly cooked food which was flavourful as well as yum! We had a floor seating which was a unique experience. Will definitely come back to this one when we visit Bath next time.

We were in Bath on a relaxing spa break and wanted to find a perfect restaurant to end the great day. Nepalese food stands out to us particularly due to our desire to visit Nepal one day. If you come in here you’re definitely in for an authentic atmosphere and genuine hospitality.
We wanted the saffron lassi but they had run out. The mango lassi was frothy and very smooth, get one each otherwise you’ll be fighting for the glass.
Vegetarian momos had the taste of buttery leeks. Lovely texture. Fried salmon (malekhu macha) was great value for the portion size. Too much for one person but definitely two pieces per person as a sharer. Both of these starters came with a good amount of side salad and sauce.
For the mains we had the butternut squash curry (pharsi ra kalo channa). Big soft butternut squash chunks amongst a deeply spiced chickpea curry. We were licking the oil off of the plate. Combine this with the Nepalese fried rice (butheko Bhat).
We used the black dahl (maasko dahl) after as a sort of soup after the heavy curry. It was plain but creamy and comforting.
Aloo tamar was a little bit of a hit and miss. We definitely enjoyed eating it but could have potentially picked something else on the menu to replace. The bamboo shoots added a slightly strange taste.
Lastly the carrot puréed dessert with fresh fruit on the side was a great palate cleanser and of course, we loved the pistachios. It was warm, sweet and had a good mixture of textures.
We loved all the decor in the restaurant , the posters and newspaper clippings of mountaineers. It’s no surprise Yak Yeti Yak got mentioned at the top of Everest!!! We will be coming back again and again.
Belle.
Ended up here after the pub down the road had already stop serving food and by far, it has been the best meal we’ve had in Bath.

Waitstaff are super friendly and the atmosphere is authentic and relaxed.

Would definitely recommend the pork momos, Pork Sag Aloo and the Yak Yeti Yak chicken. We had two entrees and two meat dishes along with plain rice and it was definitely enough food.

Great food, great venue, friendly staff.
Food is hearty, authentic Nepalese food locally sourced & veg homegrown. Really enjoyed it. It was refreshing to see real Nepalese food instead of the usual pandering to the English expectations of curries.

My meal was reasonably priced and delicious. Highly recommend!
