The food was very tasty. I had a "large" crumbed calamari starter plate, but it was really only a light meal. My wife enjoyed her Bill's fish pie. Service was okay, but not outstanding. Hardly worth the 12.5% automatically added to the bill as an "optional" service charge. Atmosphere was busy. As a franchise, it is mainly about getting people in and out as quickly as possible.
Had the most fantastic first evening meal here in Bath. Food was amazing. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Great place to spend the first evening of our honeymoon. Emily waited on us and was great, she was really busy but always knew what was happening with her tables.

Excellent overall, welcoming, friendly and attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent, we had starters, main and dessert and thoroughly enjoyed all. We highly recommend and would visit again.
Even on a busy Saturday night the staff were warm and welcoming.
Atmosphere was a bit dark for my liking but the decor and furniture was fitting and comfortable.
Food was good. The starters were well cooked and flavourful. The calamari wasn't overcooked and the duck wraps were nice and sticky and spicy. The chicken dumplings were well cooked and the sauce was a good acompliment.
The special spicy burger was nice but not nearly as spicy as I'd hoped. Still well cooked though.
They did well with my wife's request for her classic burger with no questions or even a stumble when asked for just a patty and cheese.
The kids menu, whilst lacking a starter, was almost the same size burger as an adult's so there is definitely enough there for 99% of kids.
The drinks menu has a good selection to suit most tastes and the mocktails are refreshing too.
All in all its definitely a good choice if you want an easy choice in a city like Bath but definitely book a table ahead of time!!
This was a great find for me. As a solo traveller, it's small enough to be cosy but large enough to find a table easily and not appear strange being on my own. I went for their burger special (the French one, which was YUM) and a South African wine in honour of my birth country. I didn't realise the burger came with a free desert. Luckily one of the wait staff pointed this out to me and I ordered the doughnuts, which were delicious, I was so full! Very enjoyable!
Bill’s was a great place for a quick lunch and a beer. Though cocktails and liquor can get quite expensive, food and service both are really great. The place offers both outdoor and indoor seating, both of which have completely unique vibes. I chose to sit outside and service was great here too. I had the classic burger with fries. Though the the meat was slightly under seasoned, the burger tasted great. Definitely recommend.
My husband and I went there for dinner. Food was delicious and staff were lovely! It was relatively cheap too!
First, understand the Bill's has more than one location and is like a chain place in England. Even with it being a chain, it does not feel like a chain. The decor is very cool inside and you feel like you are in a small family place in Bath.
The food is rock solid as well. Even though the place was packed with every seat taken, our service or great and the food came quickly and made very well.
I've been to other Bills that have not been half as good as this one. We were a fairly large sized party of 7 and we were tended to excellently. Every time our water jug was empty, someone refilled it without having to ask. The food was great and came out fast. Lots of staff around so had anything been wrong, we'd have found it easy to get someone's attention. We were being served by a tall young guy with a very deep voice and he was great. Excellent service.

Food was delicious, we went for dinner and had the fondue as starter, then we shared the bbq hamburguer and the Linguini pasta. The fondue and the linguini where my favorites, excellent taste!! Also very friendly service. Enjoy! :)
