We went here twice because we LOVED their breakfast so much. The sourdough toast with jam, the bacon/ham and scrambled eggs were DELICIOUS. The servers were super friendly and had outstanding customer service skills following up to make sure you had everything or needed another beverage.
We sat on the 1st floor (above the ground level floor) with a nice view of the streets. The toilet was on the top floor. I could tell this place is popular because it was busy but we managed to get a table with a short wait.
I highly recommend it! This will be our go-to breakfast place the next time we visit Bath.

Fantastic atmosphere, has a really welcoming vibe inside. Super friendly staff, attentive service - welcomed us when we walked in, explained the food and drinks to us, took our order very quickly, brought us our drink and food without much wait, we were able to pay straight away when we wanted to. It was refreshing to have staff who were so on the ball. Nice coffee and cake. Would recommend

I came to Bath recently, for the first time, on a mini little break before starting at the University part time. I did my research before travelling, so decided Good Day Cafe may be a good place to pop into for a sweet treat! I popped by at the end of the day on a Monday and decided to pick up the Blueberry Cheesecake Blondie. The staff were kind and boxed this up beautifully for me to take away. I'd never had a blondie before, so did not really know what to expect! This was a lovely little 4pm pick me up. There is a Cheesecake base, topped with Blondie, then topped with some Cheesecake mix and Blueberries. The flavours all go together so well, and the product is beautifully moist with the Cheesecake base giving a nice bit of texture. The Cheesecake part was my favourite, giving a nice tang and creaminess. I have given one less star simply because I felt there could have been more Cheesecake and Blueberries, and because you get quite a bit of excess "base" when getting an edge piece (though this is just my preference to have more blondie/cheesecake!l Nevertheless, I would recommend the blondie here and would like to return to try some of their brownies and other products (perhaps just specifying one from the centre of the pan in the future!).

We had a delicious breakfast! I had the pancakes with tropical fruit and coconut yoghurt and my husband had the pancakes with banana and maple syrup. Really good value for money as I had 3 large pancakes and a pile of fruit. Would definitely recommend and the staff are friendly.

Two of us went on a Saturday for brunch. We didn’t have any of the cakes/brownies but they looked incredible. Originally sat upstairs but it was extremely loud so opted to sit outside which was far better. Food was nice and the staff were pleasant too.

We booked a table for breakfast for my friends hen do. We couldn’t have hoped for more. All the staff were so accommodating. All of our breakfasts were absolutely delicious: the pancakes and hashbrowns especially. The coffee was great and we could easily split the bill.
The atmosphere was lovely, such a beautiful cafe with amazing lighting, loads of pictures of doggies and great staff.
It was queuing out the door when we arrived, so I was thankful we had booked. Thank you so much Good Day Cafe, we all loved it.

Lovely spot to come for breakfast. I had the French toast with halloumi, strawberries and balsamic glaze. Great service too. Queer friendly which always makes me feel great. It is also dog friendly. There are even some pup options on the menu! Brilliant playlist too.

I love it at good day cafe. The atmosphere is great, always such a nice vibe. The food is fabulous, particularly the pancakes. The drinks are amazing, really enjoy the matcha latte with oat milk, and the coffees which they make so excellently. The service is always super friendly, particularly Eva she is always so lovely and welcoming.

We ordered cookie dough cakes and cookie dough pie for our wedding cakes. They were such a fun dessert to have. All our guests were raving about how delicious they all were. We bought 2 pies and 2 cakes to cover 90 people, this more than sufficient with a little to have for ourselves the next day! They were clear with the communication to get it organised and very helpful. We couldn’t recommend them enough for an alternate wedding cake!

Fantastic little cafe, lovely friendly owners, and some of the best french toast I've ever had. Highly recommend d the brie, bacon and cranberry! Great kombucha on offer too.

Good Day Cafe catered a brownie stack for our wedding in April, and it was a massive highlight of the day! Steph invited us for a tasting to choose our flavours, and was from our initial email excellent in orchestrating the set up for the stack, completing our vision and communicating with us. The option of vegan and gluten free was perfect for many members of our wedding party, and it was such a fun moment gathering everyone around and having our brownie bites. Really doesn’t hurt that the baked goods from Good Day are insanely tasty… Thanks again Steph & the team for the ‘icing on the cake’ of a perfect day! - Tom & Caitlin

We wanted to come here since our last visit in Bath - we saw that the brownies and price of the coffee were reasonable. Note that on a Sunday it’s one of the only cafes in Bath to stay open until 17:00, a natural draw to the active individual. Cheerful and refreshing staff, which suited the cafe itself. Lots of space inside over two floors.
We asked for the blondie cheesecake to be slightly warmed- it became just gooey enough and we enjoyed it outside along with our coffees as the sun set on a bright but chilly day.

We visited on the last day of 2022. The weather was terrible, so we ducked inside. There were no seats downstairs, but we were whisked upstairs to a waiting table. The kids loved their Hungry Hippo cookie dough slice, and my coffee was very good. The service was impeccable, and it was a brilliant put stop!

We came across this cafe when we were searching for somewhere to stop for lunch in Bath. It was very busy and popular. We managed to get a table upstairs. The food was delicious. Three of us tried the loaded hash browns which was a dish we hadn't sampled before and now my husband wants to try and 'recreate' them at home! There is an excellent choice of cakes. My son tried one and he struggled to finish the generous portion size. The cafe seemed to attract a lot of take out orders as well. It should be noted that this is a popular, lively place and therefore noisy, we were lucky to secure a table away from the main hubbub in a quieter corner. Also, if the downstairs and pavement seating is filled up then the upstairs seating and toilets aren't accessible to people with limited mobility. Should I return to Bath, then I would definitely seek out this lovely cafe again.

A really wonderful breakfast with excellent service to match - we were seated quickly, even though we were a fairly large group.
I had the banana and honey granola bowl and a latte - both were delicious and served by incredibly friendly staff. Would love to go back to check out more of the menu the next time I'm back in Bath.

Tasty brunch/breakfast. My friend: "These eggs are in a different league... proper English bacon"
