The Grumpy Baker - Bath - Photo album

A place where everyone is welcome. It's a friendly place, warm and welcoming. Great coffee and super yummy cakes. Friendly and kind staff. All customers were treated with respect and as wonderful individuals.
We had quick breakfast there. The tea was amazing! Nice and warm place. The man who took care of us was very friendly.
Very nice little place. Just had a coffee and pain au chocolate but all very nice.
The name is ironic; the baker is not grumpy, but friendly, warm, and welcoming. The avocado and egg toast was so perfect (seasoning, cooking of eggs, presentation, all!) that I came two days in a row for it during my stay in Bath. Wish I were here longer to try more of the delicious-looking pastrie
Pinnacle of high street cafes with exemplary customer service. Every order is engaged in conversation, full of energy and customer satisfaction. High chair for kids and changing table. Beats the chains every time. (Almond croissant is 10/10)
cutest café in all of bath <3 had the mini egg rocky road and it was super super delicious! everyone working was soo sweet too! highly recommend <3
Not grumpy lol. It's a local cafe with a friendly atmosphere. It is a place where you can eat delicious coffee and sandwiches.
Great flat white and friendly service - despite the name 😉
one of my favourite coffee shops in bath. with a brilliant selection of pastries, sandwiches and the friendliest staff i come here all the time. 10/10 would recommend
Very friendly staff and excellent 👌 coffee ☕️
Came here often when I lived in Bath, kind people, good coffee, loved it. Especially the pumpkin spice latte and ginger bread latte❤️❤️❤️
Lovely staff, good selection of food.
Really great little cafe. The coffee is beautifully crafted and the cakes are good n the extreme. The menu is limited, in that it doesn't have a huge number of options, but everything on there is of the highest quality. If you want somewhere quiet to chat and/or enjoy some great food look no further
I popped in while shopping on Moorland Rd with my toddler and baby girl. The lady serving was super friendly and helpful, even bringing me water while I breastfed. Very reasonably prices for our drinks and cookie, and I was made up that they had baby changing facilities, which along with the toilet
Be warned, the closing times are sometimes different from how they appear online, so if you're planning to go I'd check the times on their window. The tea is really nice, food's pretty good as well (not a whole lot of vegan options, which is what I look for, but has the standard cafe food and it loo
Little cozy and quaint bakery and coffee shop, great for a snack or a light lunch. We got there after a long journey, just to have something to eat while we rested for a while, and from the moment that we crossed the door we felt really welcome. Sandwich and a coffee, nothing fancy, but anyway I do
I love this little cafe! I'm especially in love with the smashed avocado and poached eggs - pure divine!! And the cakes - you haven't tasted an orange chocolate brownie till you've had one here!! Moorland road is a better place with the Grumpy baker in its nest :)
Great coffee with a smile
