Saracens Head - Bath - Photo album

Charming little pub in Bath. Known as the oldest pub in the area, it is said that Charles Dickens lived here and it was an inspiration for his first novel, The Pickwick Papers. Today you can grab a pint and have a seat in Dickens Corner. Staff is wonderful and the food was good too.
Came here for a quick drink and I’ll definitely be back! The staff were so lovely and well mannered! Such incredible choices for gin and the staff were so good at answering any questions I had. Table beside us also ordered some food which looked gorgeous! Will definitely be back for food next time!
We enjoyed a cocktail while enjoying all Bath has to offer. Quintessential pub, with oversized comfortable chairs , some with a view to the street. Great place to bring friends who are traveling to the area. The bartender was friendly. We will definitely return when we find ourselves in Bath again a
We visited the pub on a weekend trip away , as soon as we walked in we were welcomed by the bar staff who were very friendly and polite. The pub is full of historic information including the “Dickens Corner” where you will find lots of information on the link between the pub and Sir Charle Dickens.
Down in Bath for work every month or so and always make a point to pop in off the train station. Lovely cosy quaint interior and really friendly staff. Quite touristy, probably because it's an old one.
The oldest pub in Bath and not far from the main tourist area. Staff lovely and welcoming with quick and attentive service. We had traditional pie and mashed potato. Reasonably priced and great taste surrounded by an old ambience
What a lovely place to visit, staff were very friendly and helpful, I had the steak and ale pie which was really nice. Can't recommend this pub enough. Will definitely be back for another visit
Good pub with food pub food. Great atmosphere and in the centre of Bath. We have a lovely time and will be back
Loved the pub, lots of tvs showing the football. Food looked great, although didn't try it personally. The staff were friendly and helpful and were always keeping on top of glass clearing. Good atmosphere.
Nothing like having food at the oldest pub in Bath! I came on Tuesday at 5ish and it wasn’t busy. The Mac and Cheese was probably the best I’ve ever had. Want to give a special nod to Zoey, the bartender, who was SO sweet and SO helpful! Thanks for a great dinner! And sticky toffee pudding!!
Lovely pub, friendly staff nice beer But... On another visit the Gents loos were absolutely awful. Visually ok but my god the stench Didn't discover this til we were leaving and made me feel so ill I daren't go back in. Nothing turns my stomach but this was aqful
Dale the manager goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, he is only a young lad but he has a very mature head on his shoulders, he is quite new here but I can see he is going to be absolutely amazing. I wish this young lad all the best in this adventure he deserves it.
