It is my second year studying in Bath. I cant wait to try when I knew there would be a new Chinese restaurant in Bath. It does not disappoint me and make me feel home. All the dishes are traditional and it covers not only Szechwan food but also Cantonese food and Northern dishes. Have a try!You might find Chinese food is more than you can imagine~ BTW,the waitress are all friendly and help you to make a good choice🤗

The correct CHINESE taste!! This restaurant has different dishes from different parts of China. The spicy food of SI CHUAN, The brown sauce taste of BEIJING, The sweet and sour taste of GUANGDONG... I really love this restaurant.. It's the best Chinese restaurant in Bath.. even better than many restaurants in London.. That's why I would love to add their store on Google and write soooo long review.. Because the dishes are the soul of one restaurant.

This is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in the city. The restaurant is spacious with seating available for small groups (4-5) or up to 10 people. It has indoor seating only. The food tastes really good which is kind of rare to find somewhere else in the city. The prices are slightly overpriced. However it is worth for the food quality and the restaurant service. It is perfect for family dining.

Good authentic Chinese restaurant in bath. Positive surprises to find such a decent restaurant here. Service is on the slow side but the food makes up for it. Oh and they only accept cash!

The most "Chinese" restaurant I've been to in the UK. The food was delicious. A little pricey but not enough to stop us going back. I agree with other reviewers that the toilets were not pleasant. (The missing flush handle didn't help!)

Need to visit here if you miss or want to try Chinese food. Prices are reasonable, food is very tasty with somewhat authentic taste. Staffs are friendly too!

After a cold day trolling in Bath, came here with friends and we all were satisfied with the food quality, service and the price. First, the food is good, and from a Asian viewpoint, the food is not to salty and spicy and every dish is hot enough to enjoy! The service is friendly and quick! The price is appropriate for such large portion of dishes!

(This review is for "Baylor House", the S.E. 2/3rds of the old "Tasty" = a NEW PLACE.) ***DETAILED REVIEW*** Recommended!! The MOST AUTHENTIC & YUMMY Chinese food I've had the pleasure to enjoy in Bath, with friendly, speedy table service, with smiles! Fairly priced, huge portions, and - if you get yourself a pot of (Chinese, e.g. Jasmine) tea - a hot water top-up is FREE; just ask! **NOTE: CASH ONLY** Good atmosphere, lovely (traditional/stereotypical yet fitting) décor, complete with (cheesy but pleasant) Chinese/Mandarin karaoke playing softly on the big screen. (I prefer the sheer curtains "closed" over the window, vs an open street level view..) They have 2 "private dining" rooms downstairs, for different sized groups (see my photos, attached), so it's worth enquiring if you'd like a small (1 table of 8-10?) to medium (2 large round tables) size party in a private space. Oddly, there was no hand soap in the "men's", but there was in the "ladies'" -- identical WCs otherwise, except for the door sign! Other review re "no plates" -- rubbish. Every place is set with a bowl, plate, chopsticks, & napkin. You can request a fork/knife/spoon. Or extra plates if you want! ;)

Overall tasty Chinese food, price is ok, not cheap but noy overly expensive either. Service was very good and polite, and asking for a glass of water was done within 30 seconds of the request which is always very appreciated. The portions are very large and very well decorated (the carved bird in a carrot which accompanied the shredded duck delighted the table).

Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in England I ever visited. Authentic and very tasty food in large quantities. And very friendly staff. Obviously they have a first class chef from Mainland China...
