First visit for quite a while, I can thoroughly recommend the scone and cream tea!
After finishing touring the Battle of Hastings (Battle Abbey), this is a good place to have afternoon tea.
The tea and scones taste amazing! I ordered English breakfast tea and scones. It was very good that I had to get seconds for both English breakfast tea and scones. The staff are very friendly.

Lovely oldie worldy tea room. Had a cream tea even though only 10am and it was delicious. A warmed fruit scone and the tiny jars of jam and cream were enough and no wastage. Well worth a visit.

Very historic landmark tearoom in Battle. Great staff and great food. Lovely. Dog and biker friendly is a big bonus.

Excellent English breakfast. The tea was also very yummy but maybe best of all was the friendly service. I enjoyed the hash browns and the eggs were absolutely perfect...worth a stop!

Now, this place is fantastic. The gentleman who served us (I think was the owner) was so warm and friendly. This place really caters for people in need of gluten free food. They prepare all the food seperatly and really understand the importance of avoiding cross contamination.
