Kings Head Battle - Battle - Photo album

Nice pub close to the main street in Battle. I loved the old-fashioned items hanged all over the place that gives the place a good vibe and makes you enjoy your pint even more. It's in a stone's throw distance from the Battle Abbey. Worth check it out.
Lovely, cosy little pub. Very friendly staff and I loved the burning log fire. Outdoor suntrap was very quirky. Would love to come back for longer and spend some time whilst the live music is on!
Escaped a rainy day for a couple of drinks in this lovely old pub in Battle. Really liked the atmosphere and seems like a place where you could have a great time. Didn't have food. Only negative was my dad was charged over £15 for a lager and G&T. Seems a bit excessive in the circunstances but he on
Nice pub in lovely village . Pleasant friendly staff.
Outstanding meal with great drinks. An old building with lots of character and atmosphere in a town full of history. The staff where very helpful and friendly. The meals where a little expensive but well worth it for quantity and quality. The pub is on a main road so there is no carpark but there is
Food was very good we had haddock moray with new potatoes and fresh vegetables.
Came here a year ago and had a fine ploughmans so returned. It's changed hands but the staff were great and the Mediterranean food matched the weather, both were good. A vege Meze and a Moussaka were really good, portions spot on and home made humus flavoursome. The Moussaka served with a beauti
Everything okay, but don't have coffee (we was here 12:36)
Nice traditional pub, very tasty food all freshly served.
lovely old pub with a real fire and friendly staff. You can bring food in to eat as they don't cater at the moment .
What a great new atmosphere at this historic pub. The staff were friendly and the food delicious, with more than ample servings. The rear garden area also has a whole new feel and it is a relaxing place to enjoy some fantastic wines and beers! If i was to be very picky, i would say that the seats c
Nice dog friendly pub with an olde worlde bit up front and a more modern dining area behind. Beer was very tasty and the staff were very friendly. Would happily recommend.
Nice hotel, fabulous position, very clean think it must have all been refurbished , carpets new throughout. Food ok, not posh grub, but enjoyable and varied. I thought the porridge for breakfast was superb followed by full English, very good. Would go again anytime.
Update: I called in today (5 Mar 22) to find that the pub no longer serves food. It remains an excellent pub with some good tap drinks and friendly bar staff, but we are down to crisps and nuts. Well worth supporting. Previously: Secluded pub which serves exceĺlent food and beer. Slightly off the m
Excellent pub. A Roaring fire on a freezing March day was most welcoming. Sadly no food service on the afternoon we visited but a great place for drinks.
A very nice pub just off the main high street. It's larger than it looks from the outside. The beer and service are great and the food is good too.
Had lunch here today despite a few problems for the landlady the food was excellent. We had two classic burgers which were homemade and well cooked tasted delicious very filling. Would really recommend . The Pizza’s also looked delicious
Four of us went to the King's Head and what can we say...it was simply fabulous! We are vegetarians and the vegetarian menu was awesome, we had ordered a variety of things, the Garlic Bread was scrumptious and we all loved the Veg Meze too. The portions were a very good size and the price was very r
