Birthday Sunday Lunch at Glen Lodge
On Sunday we were booked for lunch at Glen Lodge for birthday celebration for 18 of us. We were in the conservatory which was ideal for our family gathering to celebrate a "big birthday". Our group varied in age from 8 to 80 something.
The table was nicely presented and staff were very kind and attentive throughout.
Would recommend for excellent carvery lunches in lovely surroundings.

I had the joy of shooting some gorgeous summer weddings at Glen Lodge, and it is becoming one of my favourite venues to work with.
Great staff, great service, great food and stunning grounds means that this is a venue you can trust.
On top of that, there’s plenty of gorgeous spots for photos, and the sunsets there are amazing. Don’t forget the golf carts - They are so much fun on the day!

Good choice of roasts, several different vegetables all v good apart from leeks which were undercooked. Nice, welcoming staff. My dessert was superb, 5 ways chocolate!!!!

We got married in September 2022 and we could have not asked for a more perfect day. We want to say thank you to all the staff but mostly to Beckiee who was absolutely amazing. She was swift to reply to any emails with queries that we had and solved them immediately.
As soon as we arrived at the venue from the church, Beckiee was there to greet us with a drink for us both (which we definitely needed after all the smiling). Throughout the afternoon and evening Beckiee was always there making sure everything was how it should be and making sure we were kept calm.
We brought all of our stationary and props a couple of days before the day and left it with her to put out and I couldn’t have done it better myself. She done such an amazing job at organising everything on the tables for us as well.
Our guests complimented on how amazing the food was and the venue itself.
It is such a beautiful venue with fantastic views and scenery across the golf course, where we had our photos taken. Beckiee knew exactly where to go for our photographer to take our wonderful photos.
From start to finish the day was absolutely perfect and how we had imagined it to be. Thank you so much again you went above and beyond for our day to be so special.
What a beautiful place to hold our wedding reception 🤍 From booking, through postponement, to the day, Beckiee and the whole team at Glen Lodge were amazing. Always supportive, helpful and caring. The lead up was fairly stressful but we always felt so cared for and Beckiee’s attention to detail was amazing. On the day the food was unbelievable, all of our guests commented on how good the food was and how attentive the staff were. We had the most magical day and we couldn’t have done it without the team there. We also used the bridal prep room which was lovely to use and got a trip out on a golf buggy to get some lovely photos!
Thanks to all at Glen Lodge, a truly wonderful place to have a wedding!
Attended a wedding here but did not stay in the hotel. Superb location, Friendly and efficient staff. Buffet food was exceptional. Highly reccomended.
We had an Easter Sunday lunch with 20 friends and family and we were all very impressed, service was exceptional. Well done great stuff
Lovely golf club, friendly people, well run club and wedding venue with good food and great golf course.
We loved our overnight stay here. Such great value and a lovely setting.

Excellent carvery for a Xmas party lunch with very nice desserts, tables beautifully laid out with coffee and mince pies followed, and very reasonably priced. Would recommend.
