A wonderful place to eat. Great staff and food was top notch. Even took us back to the car park in an electric buggy as it was raining
Stop over for lunch at this Lovely restaurant. Wanted afternoon tea but was told you'd need to book a head for that. So we had to go for other options on the menu. We had the sandwiches which was freshly made & came with salad & crips. Dessert was delicious. All the staff we meet are friendly staff.
Had the most delicious lunch today. Beautiful setting friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent customer service, restaurant staff who could not do enough for us at late notice fir a 40th birthday afternoon tea. The chef pulled out all the stops for us. Thank you so much.
This restaurant is located in Audley Mote House, which is part of a retirement community which in turn is located in Mote Park. The location is idilic, with views of the park. The food and service were very good. The preparation of the food took slightly longer than expected, but it was worth the
I was a bit sceptical about lambs as I am always a little concerned about the strong smell. But because we had friends recommended Romney and how good the lamb is there, I had to take the risk. It did not disappoint. A must try as they roast the skin to a crisp while keeping the meat medium rare. T
We enjoyed our afternoon tea and do not recognise some of the negative previous posts. The sandwiches and cakes were plentiful; we were asked if we wanted more tea. We described the sandwich fillings as ‘classic’ and for us this is a really good thing! Very happy not to be offered coronation chicken
Today enjoyed a beautiful meal at The Romney. We enjoyed the Festive menu very much and complement the chefs. Wouldn't hesitate recommending the Festive menu.
Such a lovely restaurant. Beautiful building, really good food and friendly staff. We will all be returning soon. Thank you x
Friendly and helpful staff, although slow service. We went for afternoon tea, which was great in quality and quantity (a selection of finger sandwiches, fruit scones, clotted cream and jam, and mini cakes). Narrow range of coffees, but excellent range of herbal teas. Will definitely return.
