Six Keys Restaurant

Very laid back and casual. Dined out in the court yard, only people there except for the chef collecting herbs and garnishings. Good to know it was fresh. Our host was extremely pleasant and made us very welcome. The food was excellent. Shared an entree, then a main , very tasty followed by a dessert. Walked away knowing that I had had just enough.Will definitely be back. Prices reasonable. Full marks to host and staff.

Great relaxed atmosphere with high end cuisine. The menu changes seasonally, based around local produce, but always includes a duck special which changes daily. The owner hand picks and trains the staff, who all have a good passion and knowledge for food and service, and a good knowledge of the menu.

It used to be so much better. It took 3 tries before anyone confirmed our booking, we requested a table that suited us and the kids & being 9 of us and a birthday & Mother’s Day get together we thought they’d accommodate - but nothing but a 3 word response on email saying we were booked and then the table given to the hosts friends despite him saying it had been prebooked for a long time. Not buying it. We were sat at a table right in the middle with waiters bumping into our babies high chair all night. Service was dull and we bought a pricey bottle of red that was an open bottle when it arrived at the table? And not great. Saganaki was a wedge of cheese, the dips and bread tasteless, my parents both found the swordfish dry and tasteless and couldn’t finish it, 3 of us had pasta & were very underwhelmed. Smaller portions now too. It used to be so good but it’s just not the same after it’s changed hands. We won’t be back.
