Oakfired At Royal Oak

This fab place is just minutes away from where we are staying and I had already been checking it out online, before we arrived. We received a warm welcome and were seated and served nice and quick. Everything we ate was delicious. Hubby and I opted for the pizza of the day and shared 3 plates of starters. Puddings were the brownie and the pistachio tower - this was amazing and tasted so good. Highly recommend a visit.

Yet again another fantastic meal with the authentic pizza! The sauce is to die for. We had the calamari to start! So fresh and tasty. The pizza was out of this world. The sauce alone is the best you can find and so fresh. Freezing cold Peroni! :-) I’ve just read through some of the bad reviews…. The guys are not abrupt, they are professional! Service is to a very high standard. This place is spotless and they take pride in their work clearly! If you’re coming here for chips, go to weather-spoons or Pizza Hut! Oak fired is an authentic pizza restaurant?! Some people are delusional. Rant over don’t listen to the fools who are after chips. This place has authentic with unique flavours. We love it more every time. Thank you for a lovely evening. Delicious!

Choose to take a special, pizza loving person here to celebrate. The welcome, service and kindness we were shown was mind blowing. The food was delicious, they catered for traditional pizza lovers but also had great options for those who want something different. I can't recommend highly enough and will definitely return.

We were staying overnight nearby and after reading previous reviews we decided to call in on the offchance to see if any Gluten Free options were available. Expecting the answer to be "no", we were pleasantly surprised that they were able to offer a GF pizza base (for my wife) so the three of us were happy to give Oak Fired a try. I had an Arracini stater which was really good, followed by pizza all round (one GF as requested). Service was prompt and friendly and the food was excellent. The pizza was quite honestly the best I have had and only equalled by a visit to a small restaurant outside Rome many years ago. Real authentic italian pizza - well done guys!

We have visited several times and every time we had great food. I recommend the calamari as a starter. About the pizzas do try the Neapolitan margherita as it’s very close to authentic pizzas in Napoli. For desserts I recommend cheesecake or the pistachio sundae as a great way to finish your meal. It’s a highly highly recommended restaurant.

Wow! We had a family meal with 2 small children here whilst on holiday and really cannot fault it. The pizzas were delicious and the boys enjoyed their pasta. Also the sundaes were incredible. All the staff were really friendly including the chefs and I would say for the quality and freshness of the food it's really good value for money. A must if visiting Beccles!
