So I bought Singapore fried vermicelli from this takeaway recently. I had never been here before, and I always buy Singapore noodles as my measure of the quality of a new takeaway that I visit. I requested fresh chilli to be added, which they kindly did for a very small extra price of about 40p. To be fair they were excellent. There was plenty of pieces of chicken and prawns. Singapore noodle is a curry flavoured dish and they should always be yellow in colour in my opinion. These did not disappoint and the portion was very generous and the price very fair. I am definitely going to go back there and highly recommend you try them out. Also the establishment is extremely clean and the gentleman that served me was friendly and efficient.
Good prices, good food, good family run business where they work hard to produce good food and to provide quick service.

This is our go to Chinese takeaway. Delicious every time and such a quick delivery! Definitely worth paying cash to this local business instead of ordering vi Deliveroo.
Salt and pepper squid I've tasted on take away this by far the best.
We use this place all the time and won’t go anywhere else now. We’ve used them about 15 times now and never had anything but great service and consistent quality. The one time they missed something from our order they credited us for the next one (was only a spring roll). They’re quick and efficient too which is always a plus.
Just moved into this area and saw this take away has excellent reviews. I tried it and went back again. Very impressed with the quality of the food and although they were busy taking orders and cooking, I only waited 15 mins from when I ordered to when I got the food. Very clean as well.

We have been using Modern China for years. Food is consistently good, well priced, delivered hot and within the time given. Delivery drivers are polite and efficient. Highly recommended.

I cannot review modern China because they are my clients. I repair all the fridge in their kitchen. The only thing I can say is that I like to eat his food. He likes to keep his food fresh and his equipmenst working..He is a genourous payer so I like to work for him.
Food is so good not a bit of grease made the order to my preference nothing was too much trouble.
