Waitrose in Beckenham is a well-stocked and high-quality grocery store that offers a great shopping experience. I recently visited this store and was impressed with the range of products and the level of customer service. Quick couple of drinks with an old friend - it was very hot outside in the front (seated area with sun umbrellas) so we sat in the much cooler seating area in the back which was better for us. Service was quick and polite with a nice selection of clientele. Very good for sport as there a numerous TV screens inside plus a larger one outside in the back area. There are some cabin type rooms outside for private drinking which I believe also have TV screens. This pub is not your typical Beckenham pub - less rowdy and more traditional. Nice selection of beers too.

All seems good - nice Waitrose with a Beckenham vibe. Prices are high, but clientele will pay if presented with quality produce & treated with respect and dignity - a million miles away from the grit of East London - would recommend :)

While other supermarkets may have cheaper products, Waitrose does impress me with it's variety and quality. There's less of a stampede too.

So fortunate to have this supermarket as my local. Yes, prices may be a tad higher, but you enter a world of zen shopping here. Staff are friendly, will go look for something is its not on the shelves, aisles are a decent width, nice clean well lit store, great selection and quality of products, easy fast check-out. I don't know what it is about this supermarket but its stress free ...and I'd even say pleasant! (and I hate shopping normally). Do they intercept the screaming kids that other supermarkets seem to be plagued with at the entrance? Maybe. Undoubtedly the best supermarket in Beckenham.

Clean store, tea or coffee available for card holders, different types of queues so you don't find yourself in a long queue, staff all very helpful and not just customer services, even the butchers, fishmonger, deli food too. Good parking space, good choice of flowers. Now has some staples from John Lewis in store; just a few household and kitchen in store. Lovely place to do weekly or even daily shop.

If only I could afford to shop here all the time. The partners are always friendly and super helpful, the store itself is clean, the choice of fresh goods is excellent and the sushi bar is a real treat.
