When I was in the QMC hospital I meet the owners of this wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant .So decided to go with two friends for Sunday lunch. the friends had been before .Wow The starter was amazing the main course which was loin of pork was amazing ,I always judge Sunday lunches out by the roast potatoes well the Black Swans were yes you have guessed it amazing then along comes the sweet yep amazing too .So I have no hesitation to recommend the Black Swan 5 star seems to too low 10 stars I say

Lovely village pub at the end of a quiet lane. Although the rooms were fairly small inside, the atmosphere was quiet and not crowded. Service was always very fast and friendly, the food was cooked perfectly! No vegetarian options were on the menu but we contacted them in advance and were able to pre-order from a few options. This place was a great find and I'd definitely return.

Hidden away at the bottom of Hillside in the tiny village of Beckingham is a real gem of a restaurant. The Black Swan serves local produce with real style. The A la carte menu is well balanced with a changing Table d'hote and the wine list is excellent value. We have never been disapointed when eating here.

Genuinely excellent Sunday lunch - friendly staff, great food with perfect portion sizes and something to please everyone in our difficult party! The desserts were spectacular 🤤

Tucked away in the quiet village of Beckingham, close to Newark on Trent, this family run restaurant provides an excellent dining experience. Open Fridays, Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch time, it's worth booking in advance as the quality of the food has increased the popularity of the restaurant in recent months.

The liver was slightly over cooked...so a tad tough. Other than that a first class meal, with really good food and service

Best restaurant experience we’ve had. Food and service was 10/10. Their head chef beats all top restaurants we’ve been too by miles! Our new favourite place to eat!
