Review Whiterow Fish And Chips - Beckington

Very good. The service was good and the food lovely. We had grilled fish and chips. The garlic aioli was particularly nice. We ate in rather than using the takeaway. It was very busy and the waitress warned us that there would be a half-hour wait, but we were happy to wait.

Thought we would try here as was recommended to us. I had the spicy bean burger and chips, Partner had cod and chips. I must say that is probably the best spicy bean burger I have ever had. Partner really enjoyed the cod. Only downer was that our 2 cold drinks we ordered took maybe half hour to come. Apart from that, Would definitely recommend eating here.

We have just had lunch there and took a friend their it was fabulous like always

Great fish and chips. Batter was light and thin with a nice crispy texture. Chips were fried with beef dripping and tasted amazing. The location is family friendly and staff are very friendly.

Best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted in my entire life! Serves good coffee too. Located on a farm and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Check out the store for fresh fruits and vegetables.

Top quality fish & chips but in a farm shop. To be honest started visiting this place last year and the in store butcher and fishmonger is excellent as is there sandwiches

Such a busy restaurant out in the beautiful North Somerset countryside. Ordered the lunch special of prime cod fillet, chips and mushy peas. As an expat Brit who has lived in Los Angeles since 1985 I really miss my fish and chips, this plate certainly delivered. The batter is light and crispy, the fish flakey, tender and juicy. So many chips I could not finish them but they went into a take-away box for a chip butty later. Highly recommend. I also had a side of curry sauce but I would not recommend it, not a true chippy curry sauce, had tomato sauce in it and it didn't seem right.

This is a great place 😊 the fish and chips are amazing and the portion's are huge. We will be definitely coming here again ☺️ 10/10

The food from here is fabulous. However waiting an hour for 3 take away meals is unacceptable.

Very good. Bit of a drive, but worth it. Fish was excellent, lovely batter. Portion size was just right. Good to see cardboard packaging being used.

It's a cafe by day and a table service in the evening. Visited early evening and plenty of tables available. The cod and chips was fantastic and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

It's a very nice place. The food is good, decent service, the venue is very rustic and simple but charming nonetheless. We had cod and haddock, and the food was very nice, portions were also perfect sized: Not too much, not too little.

Fabulous! We were on holiday in Dilton and their chippy was closed Monday so we drove up to White Row and so glad we did. Had a cod and chips and homemade fishcakes and chips and they were really delicious. Rang and ordered in advance, it was ready when we got there to take away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend👍

Great fish restaurant and cafe. Visited twice while on holiday nearby and the food was great both times. Staff were friendly.

My daughter and I come here every week without fail and I often come here during the week. We came last weekend and had a lovely lunch this week you have new staff who are rude and unhelpful. My little girl always has a half jacket potato with cheese and beans, today I’m told they don’t do this anymore as they don’t have small potatoes (although your farm shop does) and it’s a waste throwing half a potato away... wow... I asked for dilute orange juice and was sent pure orange juice and to top it off you’ve overcharged me for the beans on toast she had to have £3.75... seriously debating finding another farm shop where they value their customers

We visited on Friday morning for breakfast before a weekend away with friends. Excellent quality breakfast in beautiful cafe. We purchased food for the weekend in the farmshop, the burgers were unbelievable as well as the pies. Finished off the weekend stopping for Fish n Chips on the way home. Large portion on the lunch special, good quality fish and perfectly cooked chips. Can’t wait to come back soon

We dropped in yesterday for a look around and lunch. The grounds are lovely and we enjoyed the play area (despite the rain and muddy puddles) and seeing the animals. The farm shop was large with a great selection - the veggies looked amazing. The Gift shop was lovely and the cafe was very very busy but the staff were very efficient and friendly. We were served quickly - really enjoyed the baguettes and our 2 yr old wolfed down his mini ploughmans and loved it too. Thank you

Very good service and quality fish. I would recommend to friends and family to pop along grab some food at their new cafe then go and buy a nice treat for dinner 👍

I took my grandchildren for the morning. We started with a lovely breakfast (the scrambled eggs are to die for). The rest of the morning was spent with the children delighting at watching the pigs and playing on the excellent play equipment. The morning finished with hot chocolate, squirty cream and marshmallows. The staff are lovely and we didnt have to wait too long despite the restaurant being packed.

Called in for a coffee and bacon sandwich with my brother, excellent food and service, also loved the farm shop.

A great extension to what was a really good establishment. Great food at a realistic price. I would recommend it to anyone.

As per usual an excellent meal but just couldn't manage dessert. So after purchases in the farm shop double ice cream for George (definitely a Hollands) and piece of scrummy cheesecake for grandma and Teresa to enjoy at home. All in all a good time.
