I have used this place a few times for a quick sandwich as I occasionally work 10 minutes away, and remembered that their sandwich s are the best for miles around, on this occasion I drove there for an early lunch as I was in the area.
This place is consistently busy but after waiting a short while
INSANELY INCREDIBLE fish and chips.
Like beyond your expectations. The chips are perfectly cooked and the batter on the fresh white as snow fish is not just the most tasty I have ever had, but the most perfectly crisp.

Stopped here for breakfast on the August bank holiday. Place was already pretty full when we arrived at 9.45.
Wonderful freshly cooked food, generous portions but not cheap. Quick efficient and friendly service. Strongly recommended.
Had the small full-English breakfast which thankfully didn't have black pudding so strictly speaking was not 'full'. The sausages and bacon were superb, and the egg, tomato and mushrooms superbly cooked. The toast amazing.
The staff were a joy, such nice competent people.

Really good breakfast but unfortunately during our visit, our drinks didn’t come out to us until after we’d been served our food and eaten it!! Service could definitely do with some improvements, but nice food other than that.
Had the small breakfast. Good food and the right size portion for a pensioner- go for the large if you have a big appetite. Busy but parking was ok, access easy and it didn't take long to be served. Plenty of very young children so expect children noises at times.
Fantastic fish and chips. Also, great farm shop with fresh vegetables, butcher and fishmonger.

Came as a family of 7 today (with 2 children) and had a great experience! Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating (especially Dee 😊)! Would recommend to all and will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Great food, top staff. Only down sides are - no sugar/ketchup/salt and pepper out on tables or within reach....we had to ask at the cashier 3 times! Also - we sat outside in the wooden hut but were constantly pestered by wasps.

Went here for Sunday breakfast, quite busy and a bit of a wait but food was great, full English was huge. A bit of a noisy atmosphere with nothing to deaden the sound which makes it difficult to have a conversation.
Great value, good food. Wife had piping hot cappuccino and ploughman's with home made pork pie. I had a prawn baguette with masses of prawns. And a lovely cuppa as well. Started out as a very small tea room and has grown like the Hulk. Except not so green.
Just had a cuppa and met with friends for a catch up. This was a delightful venue. We weren't rushed or moved on, which was brilliant. It was buzzing and busy. I was told this was because they do a great cooked breakfast, which I didn't sample. Maybe on my next visit though!!
