Had a fantastic evening at Athena Palace last night. Amazing food, very friendly staff who really made us feel valued as customers. The belly dancer was great and the disco music was spot on! Thank you so much, will definitely be returning!

I visited Athena for my cousins hen do and all I can say is I can not wait to go back again!
Not only was the food delicious but the staff were so helpful, friendly and joined in with our group and all the other people dining and partying there that evening!
The dancing was fantastic and the waiters and waitresses made our night even better!

This was our third visit to the 'Palace' this year and the 15 of us were easily accommodated with plenty of space. We enjoyed an excellent evening with delicious food, a great atmosphere, fun entertainment and helpful staff. The Meze really is 'all you can eat' and we benefited from several top ups.
Being a Saturday we also got to enjoy the belly dancing and music and everyone is welcome to join in if they want to. There is ample parking nearby and it's really close to Bedford train station.
For a great Saturday night out in Bedford this is the place to go.

Went at lunchtime for the meze for 2! Loads of food and so tasty! Would recommend and will be returning for an evening as would love the music and entertainment �

Had a Saturday night takeaway for me, Mrs and son. Food was spot on. Pick up time was as stated and left us all comfortably stuffed. Great service and food. I know where our next healthy takeaway will be coming from.
Fantastic venue and "experience". The food is superb and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The belly dancing and Greek dancing were an unexpected surprise !! Highly recommended !!

Had a friend's birthday there. Honestly, some didn't like it but I'm not writing a review for them. I loved it.
The food was good, I liked the atmosphere, nice Greek songs, and I really liked both the lamb and the grilled chicken.
With a warning that some friends did not love it, I'd definitely suggest the place.
I celebrated my 50th here and had a truly amazing night. The food was delicious and more than enough. My mum is on a gluten free diet and also only like a plain food and she was able to choose what she wanted and they went out of there way to specially make her a prawn cocktail for starters. The staff were so friendly and helpful and welcoming. I would recommend Athena Palace 100%.

The food was really delicious and it had a great atmosphere. The only issue we had was it was a long time before someone asked if we wanted the bill nut this is probably because the are running with a Skelton staff at the moment. Overall an excellent experience, just call before you bookto make sure they'll be open and able to fit you in.
We managed to get a fabulous deal on groupon but this place is great value any way. The food is always beautiful and plentiful. We would highly recommend eating here. The staff are very friendly. Apparently it gets extremely busy when they have entertainers
A warm welcome awaits each guest as does an excellent Greek meal. Service was great throughout and the meze is a real delight. 6 cold starters, 6 hot starter plates and 2 mains. All the food is well cooked and tasty. Get yourself down to Athena Palace
Had a fantastic Meze here last night with the Groupon deal for 2 people. Food was lovely and fresh, very tasty! The only fault we had was slow to clear away plates at the end. I would 100% return and recommend to anyone. Also surprised by Greek entertainment at the end on the night.
been here 2 times and personally myself and my guests have always enjoyed it here, with a groupon voucher its almost as much as you can eat. travelling abroad a lot with my job this is good VERY GOOD. many thanks

I don't know if it's normal, but the night we were there we were treated to some fabulous musical talent too.
The food is so good. Reasonable price. Staff were friendly. Service was very good, no long waiting. Excellent place to go. No parking facilities but you can park on Rutland Rd or Grafton Rd or Alexandra Rd which 6pm is free. I'm sure we will come back.

Excellent Greek food, giant portions, friendly staff with very good service . It's the first Greek restaurant in the UK that satisfied me and felt really Greek environment. Our next visit will be at a Saturday , live bouzouki !!

The restaurant is located fairly close to Bedford station and there are numerous parking spaces in the roads near the restaurant - we managed to park on Rutland Road.
We went using a Groupon voucher in order to check out the restaurant but we were made as welcome as if we were normal diners.
The meal started with traditional cold Greek starters - humous, chillis, beetroot, a potato salad, a cold seafood dish and tzatziki and warm pitta bread. After the cold starters were a series of warm dishes including haolumi, dolmades, spinach & feta in filo pastry, calamari and a warm sausage dish.
The main courses were lamb kleftiko, chicken skewers with rice a pork dish and a Greek salad.
All of the food was delicious especially the calamari, chicken skewers and lamb kleftiko and the waiter was really friendly and helpful.
The meal amazingly also included a glass each of the house red wine.
We were very impressed by the quality and quantity of the food, the great service and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant and will definitely return as soon as possible.
Really good food. Friendly and helpful staff, good prices for the food and drinks. Great venue for larger parties or small groups.
