The Castle - Bedford - Photo album

Visited Bedford after moving away over 20 years ago. This pub is still as good as ever. Great atmosphere, really good outdoor area, staff are friendly, and the drinks are to o quality. Thank you, we'll be back!
Always a pleasure to visit The Castle. Great vibe, lovely outdoor sitting area and the friendliest staff. Often great music on too as a bonus!
Lovely little pub, very cosy and nice atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and staff were friendly.
This is a really sweet traditional pub with friendly staff and brilliant decor. There’s a range of seating options including some nice window booths and a small garden area. Prices aren’t the cheapest but there’s a good range and it’s nice to see food options from a couple of the local restaurants.
Nice pub, friendly staff, good range of drinks
Very nice pub. Sometimes with live music 😍
Always good selection of proper beers.nice atmosphere.Real pub
A lovely local pub, a great selection of beers and other drinks. The staff are really friendly and it has a lovely atmosphere. Worth a visit and checking out the real ales.
Nice traditional English pub with a friendly atmosphere and good selection of drinks at realistic prices. We've enjoyed drinks in here on numerous occasions and it is one of our favourites in Bedford.
Great town centre pub and fabulous real ales. Last weekend, for example, they had three of my favorites, Black Sheep, London . Timothy Taylors landlord plus a couple of others. What's not to like?
Good relaxing Sunday afternoon and good to see Steve playing some great songs
One of the best open mic nights in Bedfordshire, the acoustics in there lends itself perfectly to acoustic acts - although bands do frequently play there too. The bar is stocked for all occasions, with guest ales and plenty of gin and tonic variations. They also play host to a riotously popular Iris
Lovely feel to this traditional feeling pub, with open mic night and good selection of ales and beer
Having never been to this type of place I pleasantly surprised. Friends of ours had holiday home home which we went to. Right by the race course if you're in to that sort of thing. The on-site amenities were great, it was a short walk to the beach which was deserted so plenty of space. Lowestoft was
Very nice pub. Tried 2 local ales - Origin and Forward pass - enjoyed both! Busy pub, good service.
Went on the Irish folk night to remind us of family roots and holidays. Was just like being back in Dad's village pub with the locals playing away except cleaner and tidier. A great night and will be making a point of going again. They served a lovely pint of Guinness. A warm and friendly pub worth
Ah I love this pub!!! Only been going in there for afew months but already the locals recognise us. A very warm an friendly atmosphere. Had Sunday lunch afew months ago an all fresh ingredients nothing frozen!!!! Couldn't recommend more...
Classic pub with lovely atmosphere. Good selection of cask ales, ciders and wine
We're regulars here and it's a really great pub, with friendly staff and the choice of beer was spot on. Love that theyve teamed up with other local businesses to supply food too.
