My partner and visited before we went to show in Town. Great food with a really chilled atmosphere. Big thanks to Ornela who was our waitress, great service with some top banter, really made the evening that little bit more special.
We came in for lunch yesterday, and we were surprised to see that the place was actually a bit empty. I would have expected the students at Bedford College to be ramming the place for lunch, but not this time. Perhaps a 5 star review might help! 😇
Zizzi is ideal for all meals, be it a light lunch or a big evening meal. I can heartily recommend the cheesy chili garlic bread, a spicy take on an established classic! 😋 For my main I had a chicken and spinach calzone, and it was delicious. Chicken, ham, mushrooms, spinach, mozzarella and bechemel sauce - it sounds like an improbable combo, but trust me, it works incredibly well! Their coffees all cone in intriguing glasses, as well ☕️
My partner, who has coeliac disease, also feels very safe ordering from here, as all the pastas and pizza doughs can be prepared gluten free.
We'll be back for lunch and dinner, for sure 🍕🍝
The food at this restaurant is exquisite. Every dish is a masterpiece. The service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is charming. 5 stars!

The meal was very nice, and served rather quickly. I liked the half and half pizza, children liked their dishes. Also very nice deserts.

Had a good lunch here with a friend during warm autumn. Quite spacious inside, and able to sit outdoor during warm weather. Feel quite relax. The food & service is good. Great view of river Ouse from the windows/outdoors seating area.

This was my first time visiting Zizzi's, as soon as you get to the entry, there are guidelines. Before you shown your table you asked to fill in a Track & Trace form.
We were shown our table by a blonde girl, she was ever so nice, she gave us some nibbles before we ordered anything, Pasta Crisps (Vegan and Gluten Free) coated in a somkey paprika flavour, about 5 mins after, lady with short hair (i believe one of the managers) took our drinks order.
Once our drinks got to the table, the "manager" asked if we were ready to order. We went for the 2 Course Meals Lunch for £9.75, both of us asked for our starters and mains, plus an additional side each.
Our starters were really nice, on my salad it said on the menu, that would be marinated in balsamic vinegar and olive oil, but neither of this were on the dish. Not a problem at all anyway.
After we finished our starters it didn't take long for our mains to get to the table, the mains were both nice, we never got our sides though.
After we finished, we asked for the bill were it states a "Optional Staff Tip - £2.37" but we didn't get asked if we wanted it taken off the bill or not just got made pay it, it's not an issue, although if it is an Optional Tip, the waiter should make the customer aware of it, before processing the bill.
Always feel welcomed and taken care of.
Food is always on time and very well prepared.
Staff is extremely friendly and understanding.

Third time and by far the best. The food has always been delicious and the scenery a bonus. Today we went to celebrate our civil marriage and the service reflected the importance in every possible ways. Thank you so much to the staff, you were amazing and management. You've got faithful costumers in us.
I had an absolutely lovely lunch with my work colleagues today at Zizzi. Even though it was packed full with kids on half term, we had a great service with the very kind and charismatic team members.
I had a soul balls starter and lentil linguine ragu dish and both of them exceeded my expectations. Absolutely lovely and well priced with a set menu offer.
The new refreshing watermelon drink was great too.
