An absolutely brilliant pub and restaurant. I confess I spend more time in the pub than in the restaurant. It has a very friendly atmosphere with the locals who are all characters in their own right. Saturday nights are generally the best. There is always laughter and the barman is an absolute leg
Great place,great food went there with my wife for our anniversary very welcoming friendly staff. Meal for 2 was excellent and they serve alcohol free beer as I don't drink
Having heard mixed reviews I was apprehensive about qhat to expect. From entering the building to leaving it I had the most enjoyable time. The food was beyond my expectation. I will certainly revisit.
Myself and wife came across this restaurant on our way home, having eaten at many restaurants throughout the uk we were not disappointed with the food atmosphere or service here, as you know not everyone will have the same opinions all I would say is try it for yourself!
Food was delicious as always. Service was a little slow to begin with but improved quickly. If you're on a budget, it is expensive but I've never minded as you pay for the quality. Only downside is theres only ice cream for dessert!

I guess I've been here once a year for the past 6 years and a few times before that. The menu never changes ( which is why I know what I'm going to eat!!) and the quality unvaryingly excellent. A very pleasant meal

Great place. Never had a bad meal. Always had service with a smile and nothing is too much bother. Just a shame we don't live closer or we'd be in there every week.
Not set up for kiddies, but so accomodating and welcoming. Food was lovely, staff were great and best of all a round table for eight!!
