A lot of big homemade cakes and some bought cakes all look very nice. Nice coffee and Mocha. There is only room for 2 tables outside. Good if you have your dog with you.

Very efficient with a very good selection of baked goods. The sandwiches were extremely nice.

The cake shop is a really unique bakery/cafe in the area, that serves a wide variety of food including bread, cakes, hot drinks, light bites and even full English breakfasts. Most of these can be eaten in or taken away.
The place adopts seasonal decor which is keeps things refreshing. Staff are friendly and their food is to die for. Homemade cakes and a fry ups bring my favourite bites. Definitely worth a visit!!

Had a lovely Christmas afternoon tea that I think I enjoy even more than a summer afternoon tea :-). Staff fantastic and can't fault the food, the taste and quality was exactly how you would want it and more. Couldn't finish it all so boxed up to take home and enjoying even more :-).

Have used the cake shop on a couple of occasions when staying in Bedford for our breakfast prior to travelling back to Devon.
We love it, good choice of breakfast combinations and all freshly cooked and served with a smile.
Its hard to resist not taking some lovely cakes for the journey home....

Great little cafe and cake shop. Food is damn good, and quite a good selection of food, hot & cold staff very friendly and helpful. Great for a quick stop off, with the hospitality and warm service adds to the experience
