Took my old ma here for a birthday treat! (Times is tight)
There is a lot of choice, hot or cold meals and snacks and lots of cake! It's reasonably priced, £10.95 for cottage pie and peas/carrots with gravy. Kids hot meal was £4.95. Decent sized portions and the food was delicious. Not too long of a wait to be served. Friendly and helpful staff. I'd definitely return.
Went for breakfast, had a small one, sausage, egg, beans and hash brown. Toast and two portions of butter with pot of tea. All for under £15. Not bad value, well cooked and hot. Well spaced tables and easy parking. Well worth a visit
A friend had organised an afternoon tea here. The table was set with cake stands offering sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, plus a selection of mini cakes. There's a choice of tea and coffee too. A very relaxed atmosphere. Excellent value for money.
We had a roast dinner and it was lovely. The beef was lovely and the veg was plentiful. Had fruit trifle and it was lovely.
Great place for a self service Sunday carvery, very tasty, well cooked, gets very busy as it only serves the carvery between midday and 2pm. They could do with having two tills open to pay though, as the the food soon cools off while your waiting to pay.
It’s refreshing to find a family friendly cafe that’s not overpriced. Nice simple food freshly prepared and plenty of space in the seating area. Also a couple of tables which you can sit at with your dog if you’ve brought them too. Great little find locally 👌
Lovely staff, lovely cafe, lovely garden centre. And an amazing array of gifts, tools, seeds, pet things and more!
Nice little garden centre. Easy to get to and has ample on-site parking including spaces for disabled customers. Plenty of variety for all your garden and homeware needs. Includes an onsite cafe to grab a bite to eat and drink. There is also a DIY store called West End DIY linked to Seasons, which is really convenient.
Fantastic welcome in restaurant and great food. Little miss misery guts on the tills let’s the whole teams good work down. Richard.
A really friendly cafe, nice coffee and cakes, reasonable prices. There was a long queue for Sunday lunch so it must be good. The garden centre has a good variety of gifts and plants. Toilets are outside at the front and clean. Lots of parking.
