Very nice Fish and chips, prepared in clean hygienic surroundings. However the cost seems to be going up here like everywhere else which forces me to use less often which is a shame as I really like their Fish and chips.
Wonderful fish and chips. Brilliant taste. Chips light and fluffy. Fish (cod) was crispy and full of flavour. Shop was very clean and tidy. Very impressed indeed!

I used to come here with my Dad when I was young. I’m now 40 with my own daughters and saw that Dom and his family were back running the shop so took her this evening for our dinner. It was amazing. Just as good as I remember. We’ll be back soon.
A good fish n chip shop, a little pricey and smaller fish compared to Deniz on the corner of Beaconsfield Street.
Have tried several chippies in Bedford and none were anything special. Gave this one a try and have found a gem.
Good portions of chips, that weren't greasy. Wife said her cod was delicious and the batter reminded her of Scottish chippies (a huge compliment).
The Best in Bedford. This is how fish & chips should be made. It was like stepping back in time when standards were higher & quality was better. Friendly service. Competition can learn from Denmark street high standards.
Have been using the fish and chip shop regularly since Dom took over,
and we think the food is really something to be proud of, and it is now at
least a weekly event, well done to all, and everyone serving is so helpful, it
really has a nice atmosphere.
The best chips in town. By a mile. And certainly the most consistent. Never fails to please. Fish is good too. Crisp batter. You don't get any reheated stuff here at all.

Just been to Denmark St Chippy - Dom back behind the fryer - thought I’d gone back 30 odd years - as good as it ever was - pre-ordered skinless haddock - absolutely fabulous - as were the mushy peas & curry sauce - outstanding !
