Bedford Village Inn

I have been a wedding photographer for 13 years now and this is the worst venue I’ve ever been to. The wedding coordinator was not helpful or easy to work with. The location itself has very few places outside for photos. The field they recommended for photos had TONS of trash from the wedding the night before. The “pretty garden with lights” had multiple bulbs out. It has been an editing nightmare. The food was an hour late and I literally had one minute to eat so I didn’t miss events, such as the cake cutting, speeches, sunset photos, and the kick off song for dancing. The inside was just ok, not at all worth what they charge. The entire dance floor was bouncing when people were dancing. Overall just very disappointed and I won’t be booking another wedding there. The guests (friends of mine) also had very negative comments aside from what I had seen. If you’re looking for a venue for your wedding, drive the extra hour north for a decent venue that’s worth it!! I’m not one to leave a negative review, but this one was well deserved.

Catered my Brothers Wedding. Place was cozy and delightful. Food was not up to par with the style being portrayed. Shrimp appetizer was small and did not have a genuine seafood flavor. Clam chowder was excellent but, you received a deceivingly large bowl that had 3 spoonfuls in it. Chicken dinner was very dry. Dessert was not eatable, as it was a tall hard chocolate shaped bag with cake and pudding inside.

My wife and I went here for Valentine's weekend. It has a great, formal dining atmosphere and we were well taken care of. I recommend it for all your celebrations & other special events. We shared the Salmon and Filet Mignon, both of which were cooked extremely well. I would put the steak in my top 10 of best steaks I've had. Expect to pay for the quality experience, but it does deliver.

We have been here twice in our lives once for a new year’s eve dinner with friends about 3 years ago. Then again last week for a wedding… We had high hopes that the wedding food would be better…. Nope….. The building and atmosphere is great, even dare say upscale . The food not much can be said about it.

My boyfriend and I just stayed there last night for our 3 year anniversary, the room was AMAZING, we had dinner in the dining room and the food was absolutely perfect!! They put confetti on our table for our anniversary and put a candle in our dessert, our server was so fantastic, so nice and professional!! The lobby bar staff were excellent and the we will DEFINITELY be back every year for our anniversary!!! Also, the chocolate basket is to die for!

Thank you Olivia, Brittany and all of your staff for all of your hard work in making our daughter's wedding magical! The attention to detail, quick responses to all emails, the appetizers, drinks and meal superb, and champagne in our room and the newlyweds. The rooms were huge, beauifully decorated, and the bed comfortable . The getting ready luncheon for the bridal party and the breakfast brunch the next day were both amazing! Many many thank yous to all!
