Mille Cafe

The wait staff was prompt and attentive. Nice ambience catering for birthday gathering, family dinner or just a date night. The jambalaya was jam packed full of seafood and the taste was very well balanced. The barramundi (a piece not bigger than the palm of my hand) was served on a bed of somewhat soggy salad with indistinct taste. The mango that came with the mango salad was a little over ripe and mushy. The side salad looked like something served from a packet of mixed salad from Coles with a dash of dressing of some description. For the price charged, perhaps one should expect something that one can't reproduce or even do better at home. A slightly disappointing experience.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Our reservation was perfectly managed and we were placed away from a very large family birthday group. The drinks were delicious and varied and they carry an excellent wine list, in addition to ale and ciders. I ordered the prawn salad for a shared entre and it was sublime and bursting with flavour. Food was a bit pricey, but definitely worth the money. I ordered the surf and turf for the first time ever, but was very let down with the turf side of the meal. I raised my concern and my plate was whisked away and a replacement meal was prepared within 10 minutes. Very impressed as the place was packed. My replacement meal was the beef cheeks on a bed of parsnip mash and it was melt in your mouth divine. The owner came over to apologise and I was also provided with a complimentary dessert. The restaurant has a beautiful ambience and vitality, you'd be doing yourself an injustice not to go. We'll be back most certainly.

Apart of a party of 12. Its a cafe based, spacious and nicely presented restaurant, but let me be critical only because I think its only the little things that'll make this place very good indeed. Food was nice and presented well, but clean the edge of the plate for better presentation. (I had a white plate) If your going to put additional cutlery onto the table place them on a plate or napkin. Cocktails, let's say People that drink cocktails can be critical, and would make them return or not. I would return to eat here again. I'm not a cocktail drinker, but half of the party were. Staff are patient, tentative and helpful. Has a small carpark at rear but road parking also.

Really enjoyed our meals at this busy, nicely presented local cafe. The menu variety was very good - definitely something for everyone. Decent wine list too. Meal presentation was excellent, and the flavours were well balanced. The only complaint was the service, they seemed understaffed for the evening (it was exceptionally busy). Our dessert menu was asked for and delivered, but after 30 min of not seeing our waitress we settled our bill rather than wait any further. I suspect this was not the norm, rather a product of timing associated with restrictions lifting so would happily return and presume to expect an improvement in service to match the quality of the food.

Great service, great foods, nice ambience. Today meals @chefandco_restaurant was fabulous. We had one of the best gnocchi - it was light, chewy, cheesy, & creamy with balance of freshness from tomatoes. Their beef steak cooked to perfection - as requested on medium done and the meat rested well before brought to the table. Very happy with the quality too. Their coffee were excellent! Strong, Creamy, & Rich in flavours just what we needed to help us through our busy friday.
