On The Wedge

I'm so disappointed that we have lived here for over a year, and passed this place countless times and never had their pizza until today. My husband and I both agreed it's the best pizza we've had in Nova Scotia. The crust is actually perfect. My husband had the carnivore - and was so excited to eat it I didn't get a photo 🙃 One thing about all meat pizza is that it is often very soggy because of all the fats in the meat. This one was crispy, well balanced and delicious. I had the donair pizza because I have an unhealthy addiction to donair sauce. I was torn between that and the holiday pizza. Regardless - we will be back. Lost one star rating for us because the staff, while very friendly, seemed to be a bit overwhelmed with the traffic at the time. My husbands pizza was stacked on top of mine when it was handed to me - causing a lot of donair sauce to stick to the bottom his plate and get everywhere when I handed it to him.

On The Wedge pizza is phenomenal! Our favourite is the moon pie which is garlicky, cheesy deliciousness that I dream about when I go too long without. The only reason I give them 4 stars is their online ordering system ALWAYS fails me haha. Their iPad either never sends notifications or they just don’t check, but every time I’ve tried using the online ordering system the order never goes through and it takes twice as long. They are always super apologetic and the staff are always friendly but I’ve switched to just calling it in and never have any issues. I would attach photos but the pizza never lasts long enough to be able to do so.
