This is the third time I’ve been to olive tree and I have to say the food is amazing, we struggle to find decent halal places in Bedford and this always hits the spot. The ambience is just wow and also kids friendly. What really stands out to me is the customer service every single employee will greet you very welcoming and very polite. Great service as always olive tree keep it up!! My kids also love dining there!

Had a wonderful evening at the Olive Tree. This was my first time visiting and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was great, the food was delicious and the cocktails were lush! Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend visiting. Great for birthdays!!!

Visited again one month in and it's great to see that they are living up to the high standards they initially set. It's so rare to find a restaurant that understands the importance of freshly preparing salads, but the Olive Tree clearly does.
Many months down the road, they are still sticking to their high standards. High quality food and service every time.

Really good food and service. Went on a Monday night and it was very busy which outlines how good a restaurant it is! There’s a large space around the back too so plenty of tables. Generous portion sizes!

Great tasting Turkish food with very friendly service. Met Ali who runs the restaurant and he was extremely nice. We had a variety of dishes and everything was very good. Highly recommend.

Went last for dinner with a group of 7 to welcome a friend home. The food was great, the atmosphere was great. I agree with other reviews that the music was a bit loud, but really that’s the only complaint. But the staff were exceptional. We had 2 babies with us and they could not have been more accommodating, even though it was very busy in the restaurant. And they were so friendly with the babies too, it was lovey. They asked us what the occasion was and made sure we had a good time. Really can’t recommend this place enough for a fun night out, we’ll be back!

While the restaurant may look small from outside, it has a bigger extension to the side which is not visible while viewing from the Vue entrance.
Live music and great food. We loved the moussaka and other dishes and they were flavourful and had the right balance of spiciness.
We saw 3 birthday celebrations there which was very nice and the staffs were great.! Will definitely recommend.

An exuberant Turkish dining experience in the Riverside Bedford destination. Fresh food, upbeat service (our waiter was a delightful young man named Salah), and an absolutely electric atmosphere from start to finish. I can recommend the chicken and lamb guvec dish, as well as the goats cheese. It is also a safe place for coeliacs to eat, so I've added it to the my list.
It is also a highly popular birthday meal destination - we had 5 renditions of their Turkish "Happy Birthday" song during our visit. If I was the manager, I would ask for ID proof for the diners. They must have been knackered by the end of it all! 😅
In any case, we'll be back before you know it! 🇹🇷

The food was very good, we had the sharing starter and the warning from the waiter that it was filling came true! I was pretty hungry following a big cycle earlier in the day but struggled to eat all of my main after enjoying the starter and brilliant bread!
The starter was well worth it, but next time will rain it back and just get some hummus to save some space!
The mains were equally as nice, i had the moussaka and would recommend it. We will be back again.

First time here and was an absolute delight, very welcoming as we was a large party, we was quickly seated and drinks order was very prompt and brought to table very quickly, time was given to order food and dishes we wasn't sure of was well explained, all in all had a wonderful time and great meal will definitely be going back here

It was our first visit to this restaurant and we were suitably impressed. The decor is very interesting and appealing. The service was excellent and the food incredibly tasty and beautifully presented. The staff are helpful and attentive. A very positive experience.

I had moussaka which needed more seasoning but was we'll presented.
The most impressive thing about the Olive tree was the staff, they were friendly and attentive and service was really quick. They checked to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed . As soon as a table was vacant, they cleared, cleaned and reset it.
This restaurant is incredibly well run which is why it was so busy.

Seven of us visited for a belated birthday meal, excellent service and food was amazing good selection of drinks also. Was the first time visiting olive tree restaurant and is one of the best Turkish restaurants in the area in my opinion, will definitely be coming back again.

As it was my birthday we decided to dine out as a family. Having tried various Thai, Italian and Indian restaurants in Bedford we wanted to try something new and different. After reading some excellent reviews about the new turkish restaurant Olive Tree we decided to give it a try. I booked a table for 6pm but we arrived early at 5.45pm. This was not an issue as we were greeted warmly and shown to our table promptly. The restaurant decor certainly gives you a strong Turkish vibe it also had lively Turkish music playing in the background which helped to compliment the healthy buzz in the restaurant. Salah was our server for the evening. He went above and beyond, even when there was a slight mix up with my sons main course, this was rectified immediately. He could not have been anymore accomodating or friendly. In fact all the staff came across very friendly.
For my starter I ordered the Sucuk which is a mildly spiced traditional turkish sausage. The sausage was tasty and cooked well. It had a nice kick of spice to it, without it being too hot or overpowering. My wife and son ordered for their starter the Olive Tree Borek which was light filo pastry rolls filled with minced meat, onions and Mozzarella cheese. The filo pastry wasn't soggy but crispy as it should be. They were very tasty and satisfying. For our main course my wife and I ordered the lamb shish and chicken shish, both beautifully grilled with a lovely balance of spices. The rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked. My son ordered the chicken sarma. My son can be quite a fussy eater, but his empty plate says it all in my opinion!!! An excellent dining experience which I highly recommend, one of the best meals out we've had for a while. This restaurant is the full package, and I highly recommend you give it a try....you wont be disappointed!! Thank you Olive Tree for a memorable birthday meal.
