Great pints, great music and a lovely central location for a pint. Haven't tried the food but the selection of drinks is decent and the atmosphere is lively but you can still chat
A lovely local bar, with Irish beer fir sale, not got the ordinary beers but some great craft beers for sale. We enjoyed or visit so much we went back.
I have heard about this place for a while, especially with it's connection with Boundary Brewery. So after a great concert in the Telegraph building (and that's a great use of space) I finally had a chance to call in. It has a great old time pub atmosphere that I really liked. Strange that all Be
Lovely bar, great choice of pints and a fridge full of good beers. Surprised how quiet it was on a Friday early afternoon but will definitely be back. Classic old fashioned bar
Wonderful atmospheric pub. An eclectic selection of beers and traditional impromptu sessions add to the overall enjoyment.
Nice brewpub with a excellent outside area.
Unfortunately in my most recent visit we were in on a very quiet night and just before closing time. Great selection of beers and just as well as our party included a beer reviewer! Been before several times before and usually very lively.
Great wee bar on outskirts of cathedral quarter. Always busy but can almost always get a seat. Recently renovated beer garden and lovely craft beers from both Boundary and a mix of guests, along with good takeaway can selections. No food on offer. Usually some form of live music, often traditional,
This is a lovely pub that offer some amazing nights. The atmosphere is calm, even when it's packed with people. The beer garden is lovely and in a quiet corner. They can pour a proper Guinness, which is a huge plus.
Great look of a traditional bar belies a modern cool vibe. Decent selection of beer (although we only went for Guinness!). Tight trio playing jazz in the corner made the ambience.
Great selection of craft beer and an outdoor space for sunny days
Recently reopened, now run by boundary brewery. A classic old pub with a big range of beers from boundary plus guests and even imports from England. Service was good. Would definitely visit again.
Relaxed pub atmosphere. They do not have food!! There is a pizza place across the street. Good beer.
Always get a good point in here. The selection of craft beer and gins is right up there with the best in town and the bar is set up so you can always get a nice spot to sit. There's a great wee alcove through the archway which is my favourite place to sit as it's tucked away nicely. Definitely head
Depends what night of the week. You could sit down with a quiet pint and read the paper or browse the net. Or you could find yourself surrounded by 40 or 50 other people listening to local traditional musicians. Either way. You won't be disappointed. The food here during the day and on weekends
Exceptional local craft beer, lovely relaxing surroundings and live music most nights. No TVs here, a proper pub with a great vibe!
Amazing beer and good craic. Nice bar with room so not cramped.
This is a great bar. It recently changed hands and they did the right thing and left the bar as it was. Wonderful old-fashioned look. Has a large range of craft beers and ales and they are definitely worth trying. Live entertainment several nights a week. Another plus is that there are no television
