Portside Inn is a nice traditional working class pub in the industrial area of Belfast and near the Ferry Port. The inside of the pub has a very cozy atmosphere with lots of old pub memorabilia. They have a selection of local lager, English beer. The restaurant menus comprises of different bar snacks, as well as nice warm hot meals, like burger and fries, salmon , rump steak, battered cod and more. I had the local lager 🍺. It was very refreshing in this warm day. To eat I had the battered cod with chips. The cod was tasty and as well were the chips . They were very generous with the chips portion. The atmosphere was very relaxed with a nice selection of classic 80’s music . Staff was friendly. I would visit again if I’m in the area.

Stopped for a pint and a bite to eat while out walking the tow path. Great that the place is dog friendly, we felt very welcomed! Chicken burger was also really good. Will definitely be back.

Really nice food. Great customer service. Never overcrowded. Good for cold pint outside with a cavehill view.

We had a short time to grab a decent meal before taking the ferry to Cairnryan. Called ahead and ordered. They had the table and food ready for us. The battered cod was excellent (my wife and I) and the vegetarian daughter described her pasta as pretty good. Bartender/server was great. Place is comfortable and clean.

Awesome setting a incredible food. Lived here all my life and didn't know this wee gem existed! Only stopped by as the we were out running errands and felt hungry and the missus spotted Gregg's. So glad we chose here for some 'proper sit down grub'! Staff were all excellent and the food was some of the best pub grub I've had in a long time!

Enjoyed a delicious meal at the Portside Inn as part of their steak night special. Amazing food and so affordable. The service was fantastic and the staff were all so friendly - especially our waiter, Will, who was extremely complimentary and made us feel very looked after.

Food was relatively expensive, However it was bloody delicious. The atmos mid tier starring is maybe unfair. Relates only to when we were there, Sunday early evening maybe not to be be an expected busy time of day. The question I always ask is would we go back? That is a definite yes.

Surprisingly busy for wednesday at lunch time. Called in with husband and got a table outside quite easily. Ordered drinks and food which came quick enough and was pleasantly surprised at quality of food and presentation. Our only niggle was the chips were that good the portion could have been bigger. Will be back to try more of menu.
