Very nice food. I had chicken wings with skinny fries. Although I didn't like the cheesy sauce that came with the chicken. Very good service. Staff polite and friendly. Venue was clean. Highly recommended. Definitely would come again. The lift was a novelty. Only 4 people at a time. Press and hold the button to go up or down.

We enjoyed our lunch at HellCat Maggie’s in Belfast! The fish and chips and the beef stew were deliciously satisfying. The sticky toffee pudding took it over the top! It did take a long time for the food and the service was slow. From start to finish, we were here almost 2 hours. I would recommend making sure you have plenty of time if you’re on a day trip here. You might not have time to do or see anything else around the city.

Delicious food. Very attentive staff. Good music and nice atmosphere. Was sat at the window so had lovely view of Belfast. Would definitely recommend if in Belfast!

Nice local pub that serves food, beers, and mixed drinks. The food is tasty with a good selection of dishes.

Popped in for lunch today. Service was slow to get going. We felt like there were too many customers for the servers on shift. We asked to sit by the windows and were told they were fully booked out. This was surprising as there were empty tables by the windows both before and after our meal.
Had the nachos to start which were absolutely divine. For main I ordered the fish and chips. The batter on the fish was inconsistent with some parts nice and crunchy and others quite soft. Could have used a bit more chips on the plate too, especially considering the price of £16.
My partner ordered salt and pepper chicken which she enjoyed.
Overall, food was reasonably good but pricier than other meals we've had in Belfast. It seems to be a running theme in Belfast but £3 for 250ml of Coke Zero seems very overpriced.
The atmosphere is very good and service improved throughout the meal. Would recommend visiting if you can sit by the windows but don't expect the food to blow your socks off.

Spotted this place from outside the City Hall and the initial attraction was the window seats, food and a little people watching.
It was disappointing when the waiting staff wouldn't allow us a window seat, they said it was because they were bigger tables and they needed them in case a larger group came in. (There were 3 free tables and no one came in whilst we were there who took a window seat).
That aside the menu is good, and from looking around the food portions are huge.
We ordered salt and chilli chicken with chips and it was very nice, large portion, chips are hand cooked, curry sauce on the side was good too.
Live music is played at some times in the day but not whilst we were there (Monday lunchtime).

The food was really great! I had the chicken BLT and wasn’t sure about it because it came on ciabatta, which is usually quite hard in restaurants. This was hands down the best BLT I’ve ever had. The bread was soooo soft. It was more like a melted BLT, but would HIGHLY recommend. My friend had the Parmesan chicken and said it was amazing as well. Just note the service is a bit slow, but friendly, so don’t think you’ll just pop in and out.

One of Belfast's hidden gems.
The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is very friendly.
The decor is very stylish and it's a great place to have a meal or drink with friends.
Definitely worth a visit.
The Salt and Chilli Chicken was by far the best I've had.

We had the opportunity to experience Restaurant Week in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Belfast is a great little town with exciting history and beautiful buildings; definitely somewhere we wish we could have spent some more time at.
After getting a recommendation from a few workers at a local coffee shop as well as picking up a full restaurant week booklet from the tourist office, we decided to go to The Apartment for a gourmet Irish dinner.
We were seated upstairs at a couch adjacent to a big glass wall overlooking town hall and the city center. For the restaurant week special we got to choose two of either an appetizer, dinner, or dessert in addition to a glass of wine for €13.
We ordered an appetizer of smoked salmon with beetroot mousse, rye bread, and gherkins. The mousse was really something special, but when you got a perfect bite with each item on the plate it was mouth watering.
I ordered the Northern Irish Bacon Chopvwith traditional black pudding, garlic potatoes, and cauliflower puree. We’d never seen bacon served as a slab, but it was pretty epic, and yes I ate the whole thing. It was a little on the salty side, but well worth the experience. The cauliflower was amazing and left us searching for a recipe!
My wife ordered the roast local cod with potato mash. The cod was cooked to perfection with a buttery goodness that highlighted the delicate flavor. The artichoke puree complimented it very well. They really know their purees and mousses! The mash was very cheesy and tasty, but nothing too special, the garlic fries were better.
For our final course we ordered their steamed chocolate pudding with honeycomb ice-cream and a latte. The dessert was almost like a lava cake but with a very enjoyable and unique texture that made it light and delicious. The caramel drizzle and ice cream were a perfect pairing. The latte was delicious and a perfect rounded ending to a very good meal.

A very wide variety of menu and a lot of choices.
As the name says chopped, vegetables are literally chopped once you select them for your bowl.
Descent sized portions and reasonable prices.
Recommended for light or heavy feeds!

Only had the mushroom soup while my spouse had the chicken pie. The quality of the food was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Great place to dip out of the cold and rain. Get a seat near the window for great people watching and ask the bartender to point out his favorite drinks!
