Really liked this old bar, lovely friendly place to go that serves a great array of fine beers and all served by lovely people.
Just as it should be.
Nice!
It's the first time here and i can say.. wow. Chill atmosphere/professionality and good music. I recommend to come here. I didn't try the food. Maybe i'll get it next time
Place was busy on a Saturday afternoon, all seating areas inside were either being used or reserved, so we opted to sit outside. We noticed there were a few dogs relaxing outside, and we found out the place was dog friendly. Food was juicy, highly recommend the burgers! The chips are to die for.
Loved the food. The Old Fashioned was on point and the brewed in house beer was a big hit.
They brew their own beer on site, what's not to like ? Several craft ale are also on tap. The staff are knowledgeable in that field but if you're unsure, just ask and they'll give you a wee taster. There's a decent food menu but if you want a real treat, come on Wednesday night, cos Belfast Uke are there - a few dozen Uke players singing, join in and laugh your boots off, oh and bring your Kazoo, yes you heard right .
Great menu! Interesting choices for starters and mains. Vegetarian options and nearly everything can be made gluten free. Treat yourself to chunky chips - they're delish!
Staff friendly, relaxed atmosphere, trad music on Friday evenings.
I definitely recommend a visit to The Deer's Head!
Dropped in for a sneaky pint on a day off. Normally during the weekend this place is packed. Today it was perfect for a quiet pint. I was actually surprised by how quiet it was. Don't go past folks, call in and get some real beer

During our visit, we had the pleasure of being looked after by Aly, and I have to say that she is an outstanding member of the Deers Head Brewpub team. Her knowledge and enthusiasm for the menu and drink selection is unmatched, and her attentiveness to your needs made your experience that much more enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend the Deers Head Brewpub in Belfast to anyone looking for an exceptional dining and drinking experience. From the atmosphere to the food and drink to the outstanding service, this establishment truly has it all, you're in for a treat!
Hard to beat this bar come microbrewery for a few drinks with friends or family.
Great pub with lots of beer on tap. They even had their own little distillery. There was a plum cider that was enjoyed by our group. The IPA was also excellent. There was plenty of seating. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and have time.
