Get your fish n chips from here, it's great. Portions are large and great value for money, fish and chips arent at all greasy, and the fish had loads on it. Peas and curry sauce was both great and only 50p! Best I've had up this way. Expect a wait because it's so popular, but defo worth it.
Always great. Large good quality fish and nicely cooked chips. Would definitely recommend this fish and chip shop. There is always big queues but you can ring and order your fish and chips for a set time
Lovely chips, and according to my parents, the fish was nice and crispy. The burgers and haggis got good reviews from the family as well. We had a big order and everyone eating enjoyed their meal. We will likely be back again before the end of our visit! I couldn't really see many options for veget
Fabulous fish and chips huge portion for £8.50, quick service and friendly staff. Highly recommended for a takeaway, no dine in.
Great fish and chips tonight. Freshly cooked and still hot when we arrived home. The curry sauces (fruity and spicy) were also good! Generous portions too. Couldn’t finish the regular sized one!
We had a really nice and tasty take away from here. Sausage and fish suppers, was not overly expensive and food was pipping hot. Loved the chips 🍟 😋 ❤️. Happy to go back again.
Second visit whilst on holiday and the food is absolutely amazing. The staff are polite and helpful, will definitely be back on our next trip to Northumberland.
Great value Fish & Chips, generous portion size and cooked fresh
Decent proper chippie, with really good quality fish and proper chips. Batter on the thicker side, but all freshly cooked.
HUGE portions and damn cheap too and very yummy! Husband got fish and chips with mushy peas and I got chicken nuggets with chips and gravy. The gravy was nice and thick. The shop is small but worth going just to see how well known the place is and also how well known the locals are to the owners. Lo
There was a large queue but that was no reflection on the service but a mark of the quality. The fish and chips were delicious and the scampi was the best I have ever eaten. The staff were incredibly friendly and the prices were reasonable considering the size of the portions. Everything is cooked f
Lovely meal but be prepared to wait quite a while at busy times. We waited over 40 minutes for our food on the Friday evening we visited.
Totally loved the haggis and chips; back down south now but it’s totally worth going home just to pick some haggis a chips up on the way through😘
Wonderful pie and chips with curry sauce and great fish and chips with pea's
Excellent fish bites and chips daily special . Would definitely recommend.
Great local fish and chip shop, great value for money and decent portion sizes.
An all-time classic. Great servings of fresh, good quality fish in a proper batter and decent helpings of chips. Not complete without the curry sauce. The people here are lovely and some real characters. I visit every time that I’m in the area.
Visited for fish and chips on Saturday evening, quite a queue outside which we took as a good sign! Ordered and were told there was a 15min wait but our order was ready within 10mins. We were not disappointed, food was piping hot, chips were cooked well and the fish was fresh and just the perfect fl
