This is a pub how they should be
no fancy modernisation. Well used with the local community strangers entering and welcoming . Cosy log burners ales and wines kept and served perfect don't know if food is available. Brilliant friendly staff make you one of the regulars . If I lived in this lovely village, Bellingham the Rose and Crown would definitely be my local.

I was in Bellingham for the Darksky National Park when I visited the Rose & Crown.
There was a lovely atmosphere, the bar staff were friendly and welcoming, lots of space in a well presented pub, clean and comfortable seating and reasonable prices.

Can't say anything about the food as didn't eat here. Service was great. Good atmosphere, cozy inside with outside seating. Very dog friendly. Cash only.

Typical village pub, welcoming atmosphere, the locals chatted away to us. Friendly staff, food was good although we found the portions too big. Definately worth a re visit.
