If you’re looking for the best afternoon tea in Belper, this beautiful retreat of a cafe is your place. You have an array of items and are spoilt for choice. We had an extra person who ordered off the menu and had a beautiful presented panini. There is something for everyone at this little treasure!

Lovely afternoon tea, a lot presented for the price. There are a lot of steep stairs, of course it can't be helped but it's just to note that to others who may struggle. There is seating downstairs

Me and my Wife had a gift of an afternoon tea from here. We were both amazed at the quantity and quality of this. We both thoroughly enjoyed this, the scone were so soft and fluffy both savory and sweet. All the staff were very friendly, We will definitely be returning.

Visited this fabulous cafe for afternoon tea today. Such a stunning venue which has been decorated so thoughtfully, right down to the vintage china. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and the whole place just had a lovely atmosphere. Now for the most important bit.... I can honestly say it was the best afternoon tea I have had (and I've had a few). Not only was it extremely generous and varied, but every item was delicious and very well made. We couldn't finish it all, but took the rest home in cake boxes which our families were delighted with. We will definitely be back. Thank you again for an extremely enjoyable experience.

Such a lovely place and wonderful service. The building is old and very interesting with its narrow stairs and small rooms connecting each other. I really enjoyed my cream tea for one :) I’ll be visiting again definitely

I stumbled on this place when looking for a quick cake and bought what turned out to be one of the nicest cakes I've ever had. I ended up ordering an afternoon tea for my birthday a few weeks later and was not at all disappointed. I huge amount of food and every single thing was tasty and high quality! I can't wait to go back to try more!

I have only been in a couple of times and have been really happy with the service and food/drinks I have had. Their cakes are very nice and well worth a look. There are only a couple of small tables on the ground floor and the rest are up stairs, it's very nice upstairs, I took a panoramic photo of the room. Check them out.
