Very Good. The food that Elaichi provides is incredibly tasty. The prices are a little higher than a lot of places, but in this instance, you do indeed get what you pay for.
Very helpful staff, amazing food and worth every penny.
I highly recommend trying the Chicken Naryal. (If you want to try something extra special, try requesting it with king prawn instead of chicken. It's incredible.)
A top notch Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant. I've eaten here 4 times, 3 of which were with a large group. All times the service and food were faultless. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely fantastic place to go, all the staff are super friendly, courteous and helpful especially Kam. Unfortunately I am disabled and the restaurant is on the 2nd floor, which I couldn't manage, Kam had no problems arranging for us to eat on the ground floor, organising a table and chairs to be brought down. The array of different dishes is excellent but do state if you don't want something too spicy. They offer vegetarian options too. We went for a special meal and were made to feel very comfortable and happy. Unfortunately I ordered a chicken dupiarza (not sure of spelling) which I love but ended up being a chicken tikka dupiarza which I found a bit too spicy for my taste, along with a peswari naan and pilau rice which were all excellent. My son ordered a lamb shank meal which came with 2, literally falling off the bone, vegetables, pilau rice and a basic naan. When you arrive you are offered drinks and not wanting to ruin our meal didn't want a starter got given poppadoms with various dips, which were very nice. The whole experience was fantastic and we really enjoyed ourselves. They offer top class, heartfelt follow through making sure you are enjoying your time and are happy, they also offer take away but I'm not sure about delivery, it's spotlessly clean,thank you and top marks elaichi
Great idea of being able to select two dishes for the same price and size of one portion on selected dishes!! Drinks service was a bit slow but this was on a Friday night, so a bit busy. Would definitely go back again
Fantastic place to eat, service not fast but all the meals came out together, very good quality food and the service was spot on. All the staff were very polite and happy.

Food was amazing! Service was as fast without being rushed. Staff were lovely super helpful with food recommendations! We are from Bradford and this the best curry we’ve had in ages! Perfect meal out! Would definitely recommend and was well priced to make it even better!
Elaichi gets better each time we visit. We are always welcomed and they definitely know us and what we like! The menu changes, the fish dishes are excellent. I can thoroughly recommend Elaichi

Food is great, only issue was our poppadoms were a bit soft but the service makes up for that. The staff are very attentive and friendly
This is a lovely restaurant, run by a great guy, Kam who is very attentive and efficient as are the rest of the staff. The food is absolutely delicious and if you want to have an Indian style bbq, they do an amazing and good value Elachi BBQ pack, you just need to give them a couple of days notice.
Highly recommend!! Delicious food, lovely dining room, great service and as much shredded raw onion as we wanted! :) Came here last week with my sister and my dad (we were visiting from London) and we had never been before. We were greeted warmly, impressed with the menu choices (especially for us veggies!) though dads chicken was very succulent apparently. Great prices and the dining room with the windows letting in lots of light made for a great atmosphere. We will be back!!

A lovely restaurant! Everything I’ve ever eaten here is absolutely delicious; we particularly like their biryanis and their vegetarian dishes. The service is impeccable as well. Highly, highly recommend The Elaichi to everyone.

great Indian restaurant in Belper, on two floors with a good looking authentic interior decor. Food as well as an amazing choice still maintains its quality and genuine eastern taste. Close to Belper centre and on various bus routes. Well recommended restaurants and will be back again soon x

Absolutely amazing restaurant, staff all friendly and professional, The curry was delicious. I would deffo give 10 stars if I could. Will be going there more regularly.
First time eating here with family, quiet tasty food and very quick attentive service. My only fault Purley visual, is that the starters and desserts come out on massive plates when there is only a small something on there. It would be alot better if they came out on small plates or bowls I think the decorations and presentation gets a little lost on such a Big plate.

A good cold pint of Cobra, excellent food, attentive service, the only reason for the lack of a fifth star is that VAT is not included in the menu prices, which is misleading, although it is stated on the menu. An extra 20% on the bill can be a surprise.
