Fantastic owners, lovely greating and great with the kids. The food was beautiful, from ribs, to chicken, even the peas. Staff are chatty and attentive. Fantastic staff, awesome food, great atmosphere. Next to Bembridge airfield, the children loved watching the plane's take off. Seating both inside and out.

Absolutely gorgeous food in a lovely unassuming pub. Its not the biggest but you certainly are seated comfortably and the staff were all so friendly it really made our night. We'd been meaning to visit for ages and I'm so glad we finally did we had a lovely evening. One tip I would give Is book to secure your table you don't want to miss out!

I just want to say that we went to this restaurant last year and the scotch eggs were to do die for, came back this year with family and a newbie to the crew and we weren’t disappointed, the scotch eggs were absolutely delicious (as good, if not better than last year), rack of ribs were the best I’ve ever had, looking forward to next year, this Inn is the best I’ve been too, good choice of beer on tap too, well done, keep it up

Great food, the steak was delicious and the ribs, also good choice for children too. Staff welcoming and polite, love the device on the table to say you are ready to order and pay. We were told on arrival that there would be a thirty minute delay on food, which was fine with us, and appreciate being told this. Great to see the planes taking off. I would highly recommend, thank you.

Found this pub on the last 2 days of our visit to the Island and can honestly say we were served such delicious food, we went there two evenings in a row. Had the shredded lamb wellington with mash, veg & gravy - the taste and texture of the whole meal was absolutely wonderful. Arrived on quiz night (Thurs) and even though all tables indoors were taken, the staff were able to seat us outside (lovely weather) and served us in a timely manner. Sitting outside is interesting in itself as the garden is located right next to the runway of Bembridge Airport so was fascinating to watch the planes land/take off. A brilliant pub in a good location, with helpful staff and the most mouth watering food.

Had a lovely Lamb Sunday roast here during our weekend stay on the Island. Came recommended by a work colleague, and now happy to recommend to others. Nice selection of mixed veg to accompany the lamb as well. Will definitely pay the place another visit when we go back to the Island. Oh, and to confirm, you do NOT pay up-front as another reviewer has suggested. It's as you'd expect...order your meal, eat it, then pay!

The only thing that let them down was the wait to be seated. The young girl did apologise. The food here was awesome. Everything was tasty, cooked to perfection, and attractive to the eye. I had the chicken mushroom and leek pie, which was filled with plenty of chicken chunks. I loved the little dish of veg; cooked just right. The others in my group all highly complimented their food, too. The drinks and food all came in a reasonable time. I would definitely recommend coming here.
