Absolutely love this place! Every dish I’ve ever had from there has its own flavour not just one flavour across the board! The Buffett was excellent selection and flavours when I took my wife, mum and kids for a Mother’s Day meal. I would highly recommend this place, there are some reviews that aren’t that great about this place BUT they obviously have dead taste buds. If your passing give it a try I don’t think you will be disappointed at all. They are very welcoming, attentive and professional. Food is always hot. Plenty of parking, restaurant isn’t massive but I like the smaller and more cosy ones. Maybe could do with a bit of an update in there but other than that they even have a decking area out the front that’s under cover for a drink or a smoke 😊

If you want an amazing, delicious but still cheap full meal it's your best choice. If you want elegance and posh ambience it isn't. We visited this place several times, food is always brilliant, the interior and service feels like visiting a family. On one occasion the chef personally served while wearing his kitchen apparel. Absence of any formality but serving was very professional and friendly. When on the way home from Southend it's always a halt for us.

Often visit Wheelers on a Sunday for their buffet menu which offers a good selection of starters and mains dishes including unlimited popadoms too which go down well! Very good value for the money and would recommend.

Wheelers serves lovely food at great prices, certainly the best Indian food for miles. The Sunday buffet is lovely and unlike some other restaurants, the buffet chicken curries use breast meat. There is usually a good variety of food on offer including several different Naan breads. They are happy to cook anything to your taste.
