Good food. Their fusion versions of the food you love is worth trying. Burgers are amazing. Also must visit for people who want to hang out with their fur babies. Good menu for your pet as well and my fur baby got a free peanut butter cupcake too which she loved it :)

Bhurji pav was awesome. Tea was good. Garlic fries were ok. Lemon mint cooler was only water.

Slate Café is a cute, cozy cafe located in JP Nagar. The concept behind it is that, people in our busy times tend to forget what real conversations mean, here at Slate cafe, you can have a fun conversation and also doodle with chalks, bringing out the inner child in you. They are pet friendly too. To begin with, I had a word with chef Sarvesh who is also the owner of the cafe and got to know about the menu. He has taken Indian food and merged it with Mediterranean and continental cuisine. Each dish has a unique presentation and there’s a twist. We started off with the soup, I had the mush-take soup which was warm, comforting, a tad high on the garlic flavour but delicious nevertheless. My friend tried the Mad-Ras soup and he absolutely loved it, it had lots of chicken pieces and had a spicy kick to it. Moving on to the appetisers I tried the Pune masala pav which arrives very differently to what you’d expect. Not pav buns with a side of gravy here, folks. It had pav bun bites soaked in the bhaji, unique and scrumptious. The shakshuka that I tired here was delicious too. It wasn’t like the usual chunky traditional shakshuka but had a creamy egg based gravy topped with the fried eggs of course. The drinks could have been better for sure. The brownie shake didn’t have the necessary chocolate flavour and the Brownie pieces on top were a bit dry. The strawberry mojito as well needed more strawberry flavour in it. The cold coffee was good though. The pizza too was a little average, I would expect more flavour in it and the veg kheema gravy instead of pizza sauce didn’t make sense to me. The three cheese ravioli was good. It had cottage cheese or paneer, processed cheese and cheddar cheese in it. Would have been better with some Parmesan instead of processed cheese but the pasta was well made and cooked properly, In non veg my friend highly recommended the “Holy Mother of God” which consisted of chicken simmered in a bhoot jalokia or ghost chilli sauce, wasn’t too spicy and tasted really good according to him. The peri peri chicken and chapli kebab were decent.

Went to slate café yesterday with a friend.. the new menu that has been launched this year is very interesting... it’s a fusion of Indian and continental food We went for half portion of the dishes in order to try out a lot of the dishes for the review. So quantity is double as in the pics. I had the Mad-Ras soup first which was a Chettinad style spicy soup.. I really enjoyed it as it was spicy and warming and there was a lot of chicken pieces in the soup which was plus point. My friend tried mush-take soup which was good too. In starters we tried the Pune Masala pav which had a different presentation from the normal masala pav and tasted good too, spices were well balanced. The peri peri chicken strips and spicy chapli kebab were decent. Stand out was the “Holy Mother of God” which consisted of chicken cooked in ghost chilli sauce with rice and veggies. It was perfect, would give 5/5 for that any day. The sauce wasn’t too spicy as you would anticipate but slowly warms the throat after a while. Shakshuka was awesome too, it was flavoured properly. Mexicana pizza, brownie shake and strawberry mojito were again decent. Three cheese ravioli was yummy, sauce was having the thick and creamy consistency and pasta was well cooked.Cold coffee to finish with was well made with strong coffee flavour Service is very friendly and the owner comes and attends to each table which gives a personal touch. Definitely recommend...

Nice people and good food. We ordered pizza, burger, pasta, fries and all tasted good. Loved to interact with the owner of the place who is himself a chef.. Best part is they have a dedicated sit out for people with pets. It was a great experience visiting this place..

Amazing ambience but ventilation is bit of a problem. As it's open kitchen, sometimes eyes do have slight irritation. But once you keep this aside, you wud love this place. Separate place for pets.. loved the brownie with caramelized banana. Must try

Ever feel like going out for a cuppa but you cannot because you cannot leave your doggy home alone/ you want to take your doggy on an outing with you but not very far! If your answer is a YES, then Slate Cafe is the place. Located at an easily accessible point, this cafe welcomes people and their Pawe-somes into a cozy place. They serve quite a few continental dishes and awesome coffee too! Do not worry about your furry friends going hungry, for they have a separate menu to choose their treat! However, for people walking in with their furry friends, there is just one table designated with picket fencing around. This I would recommend prebooking table. This place is good for bibliophiles also, for they have a small yet decent collection to choose from. Also, a few board games and jhenga is available for family fun time. Last but not the least, great ambience, very friendly people to wait on you. The only suggestion if I may make one is - the washroom can be a maintained a little better. All said, this place is a great choice and I heartily recommend it.

A great place for a meal. Don't expect speedy fast food service. Every dish is made to order. So while you are waiting for your meal read one of the books they have on display or play games with your mates. The food is worth the wait, very tasty!! Also this is a pet friendly restaurant.

Another Cute and Cozy Cafe in JP Nagar. A good place to spend time with friends or your bae or even kids. Also, your pets are welcomed in this place. With simple decor and great food, a must visit place They have slates board on every table, which will keep your kids busy when you visit the place with them. They also have small events like music and comedy. And if you are a book lover, you have a good options of book available Coming to food, we tried the Garlic Fries and it was really good. Crispy fries with a mild flavor of garlic Next, we had the Railway Chicken Cutlets. Made with Potato and Chicken, it was just amazing. It had fennel seeds which made it more tasty. Highly recommended For drinks, we had cold coffee and Brownie Shake which was good and had very minimal sugar which was perfect for my taste Since, we were here for a long time and with the pleasant weather, we ended up having my favourite the Masala Chai. It was just amazing. The perfect chai anybody would need to enjoy the monsoons. A very courteous staff, well managed and very attentive place.

This little place is amazing. Less crowd and hospitality was just great. Though they mentioned self service, they made sure you eat peacefully without getting disturbed. Food was served by them. Menu is great. Food is also great. Tried pasta, burger and milkshakes. Fries were so fresh and crispy. Their sauces are different and are really great. They have the art to blend them into something new. They would like to explain you about the dish that you are confused with. It's pet friendly too. They have separate Seating area for pets. Mini library is available.
