An affordable take-out soup place located in the Epicurious Garden. Recommend the chicken noodle and avgolemono. You can sample the soups they have before ordering. Soup comes with a slice of sourdough. On a nice day, you can enjoy your soup in the lovely garden in the back. Four stars because the consistency and quality of the bahn mi sandwiches could be improved.

Soop is a small outlet in Berkeley downtown among few other shops. These shops are designed to be basically to-go and has a single outdoor eating space. Anyways we were at Berkeley on a cold windy day and what better to have than hot soups. We bought chicken tortilla soup and gumbo. Loved both and it was really filling for the afternoon.

Solid, reasonably-priced and quick food option in North Berkeley. My favorite soups are the chicken tortilla and chicken noodle soup. I don't make chicken noodle soup for myself when I'm sick, but the chicken noodle soup at Soop always made me feel better. All of their soups tend to be light so you feel like you're eating a pretty healthy meal. It's pretty much a takeaway/to-go spot, though there are a few small tables inside the Epicurious Garden and more outside in the back. The soup comes with a piece of bread - I wouldn't buy the cornbread as I think it's just okay.

One of my favorite lunch places in Berkeley. They sell a changing variety of soups made from scratch and you can taste any flavor you like before committing to a pint (which comes with a slice of bread). It is a refreshing change what comes grocery store vats that turn to mush from having been heated too long. Ironically, their chicken noodle soup is nothing special, but any other choice will be fantastic. I love to take home a quart to have with homemade grilled cheese for dinner, too.

Good selection of flavorfull soups made with fresh ingridiants. A couple of rotating selections every week. Very tasty Mexican tortilla soup. Good selection of Vegan and glouten free soups, all well marked. You may taste before you purchase but be careful, very hot soups. A pint and a slice of sourdough bread about $7.00 Pick up a pint and seat in the outdoor garden in the back.

Had an order of two soups ($~6/ea.): fresh soups made daily - with vegetarian & vegan options. Food was delicious, staff was unitary, and the ambiance was unique (a long narrow food court with establishments on one side of the space only).

Delicious soup for take out that you can sample. Perfect for when you want something comfortable and tasty. The staff does a good job packing it for transport. They also sell refrigerated soups and stocks.

Came here to use a Chinook Book coupon. Fast and affordable...but I would not recommend the two vegetarian items I had if you are looking for flavor. Thai red lentil soup and tofu banh mi were both very bland (no preparation, marinade or sauce for the tofu whatsoever).
