Review The Hideout Cafe - Berkeley

Michael and Julie Bowell
Small kiosk by the wall of Berkeley Castle serving snack foods, sandwiches, crisps, packaged cakes, hot & cold beverages etc. Reduced menu and opening hours compared to the main cafe by the entrance / gift shop and limited outdoor seating, some of which is under cover. Personally feel the prices are somewhat overpriced for what it is, but that offset by not having to return all the way back to the main entrance if want refreshments.

Great little coffee shop with small selection of cakes snacks sandwiches and drinks. All seating is outside with one area under shelter. The only thing I would say is it is a little on the expensive side for outdoor eating. But is in a good location and toilets are situated in the same area.

The Hideout Kiosk is inside a little courtyard with in the castle grounds..It has drinks, snacks and ice-creams for you to enjoy...There are a few picnic tables outside the Kiosk to use..The toilet block is in the same area...👍
