Truly exceptional fish and chips. We ordered Cod and chips and breaded Haddock and chips, the portions were enormous, and the fish itself was very fresh and properly cooked.
The toilets were squeaky clean and had a theme with their wallpaper of fish. I thought it was very clever and brilliant.

Really nice fish and chip restaurant. We both had the 'pensioners special' and it was lovely - fish chips, mushy peas, bread & butter & a pot of tea. Neither of us could finish the bread. Recommended

Lovely chips and haggis was just wonderful.
Service was good but a bit strict on where you sit.
Pricey food but you pay for good food.

A fabulous little find for dinner... So glad I stopped by, had scotch pie with chips, gravy and curry sauce. Beautiful surroundings and very tasty food.
Service was efficient and friendly.

Had really great gluten free fish and chips here on our adventure through Berwick-upon-tweed. The staff was so nice and sweet and everything was delicious :). Such big portions had to take some home. Just stumbled upon this place as other ones were closed and so glad we did.

Great price of £9.xx for large cod and chips. We got the take away, didn't have to wait too long. Cook fresh, serve hot, nice & clean. The fish n chips is really good, good fish, tasty, the battered were great even the crispy bits were amazing. Love it!!

This is tasty food … full stop. Cod and Chips reviewed. Fish has flavour and a chunky but flaky texture. The batter is not too thick and has a distinct taste. Maybe a little on the greasy side but not excessively so. The chips use a tasty potato which isn’t powdery. Cooked to perfection.
Costs are high but so are portion sizes. This was a big plate full of tasty food. The sit in setting is lovely, very pleasant. Friendly staff to top it off.
It makes my list of great UK chippies.

This was an unexpected surprise. This restaurant wasn't kitted out with plastic tables and chairs as I've experienced with other fish and chip places! It was tastefully decorated, the service was friendly and efficient and the food delicious. Very generous portions too. We will return when we're in the area.

It's good Friday. Me, my wife and our 1 year old got a table straight away at lunchtime. We ordered two portions of fish and chips with mushy peas. The food and service was fantastic. We were very happy and would recommend this place to anyone. 👍

Pleasantly surprised with this chippy. They have a walk up counter and a separate dining room with table service. We sat in the restaurant and had the most delicious haddock and chips. Service was quick and the decor was nice. We’ll be back the next time we’re in town.

We are here on holiday. As treat we had fish and chips to take away,
We had haddock and chips and a cod. All was freshly cooked to order. We couldn’t finish them all but our dogs loved what we’d left.
Would highly recommend this fish shop.

What a great chippy. We came Tuesday and the kids voted today for chippy rather than KFC. Great portions and the fish and chips were tasty. We will call again when we’re back up here

Was at the takeaway side today and the fish supper was AMAZING crispy on the outside but soft of the inside and the fish was freshly out thr bucket into the batter then to the fryer right before my eyes and ended up getting a fish and a half and ate every last crumb and looked like i was wearing lip gloss when i was done i forgot to take a picture till i was half way done

Lovely relaxed atmosphere and some of the best facilities stunningly clean toilets.
Great value and crunch batter. Lovely white fish & fresh salad on side.
Sides could be bigger for the price. But the quality or the food is great.
Always a pleasure to visit when un Berwick.

All very nice, came highly recommended and didn't disappoint, we had pensioners special,included tea or coffee, bread and butter, mushy peas or beans @£12.95 which turned out wasn't for pensioners but was an adult full size portion. Will definitely go back again.

I was in on Friday since we were visiting the area on a wee break. I am coeliac and ordered the gluten free haddock fish supper. It was the best gluten free batter I have had. Very crispy and had a very nice taste and no ill effects afterwards. I would recommend this place to anyone! Staff seemed very knowledgeable and had a good laugh with them too. Lovely and clean little restaurant to sit in.
