A very enjoyable meal at this restaurant. A warm welcome on arrival and the atmosphere is both cosy and stylish. Food extremely good quality and value and the wines highly affordable. I had 4 lamb chops which were delicious with minimal fat. The accompanying salad matched very well and the dip was very tasty and no unnecessary heat to overwhelm the palate. Highly recommended for both the food and the experience.
Such a lovely warm welcome, great food and a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed a lovely evening at Mavi and would definitely recommend visiting. The staff were helpful and attentive without being pushy, the food was absolutely gorgeous and we had plenty to eat. We thought it was good value for what we had, and will definitely go back if we are in Berwick again.
Amazing tasty food and lovely staff. Unfortunately I was too excited at how good the food was I forgot to get the waitress name. I had creamy chicken which was beautiful and tender with a sauce full of flavour. Not the insipid creamy sauce you sometimes get in Italians. My husband had moussaka. This also was luscious and full of flavour. Lovely rice too. The waitress was friendly professional and really canny. As was the lady at the counter. We enjoyed it so much we’re trying to work out how to fit another visit in on our wedding anniversary before we go back home to Newcastle tomorrow. But if not we’ll definitely return on our next trip.
Lovely place to eat. Was visiting berwick upon tweed for the day and this place was recommended. I was not disappointed. Only had an appetizer but I was very good.

Wow!! Great food and great service. Early Saturday evening meal, but as busy as could be, but we were efficiently served with very good humour. We loved it and will return as soon as we can afford to. (They're not expensive!!)
We booked for the first evening of our holiday and were not disappointed. The food was exceptional and very authentic. The others diners who left before us thanked the staff for their fantastic meals. I would recommend booking as it was quite busy even in October.
We had Ali Nazik with lamb and Mixed Shish. Both were delicious!
WOW! Where do I even begin with this review! It's been such a long time since I've been to a restaurant and been blown away! This quirky restaurant is like an out of body experience as though you are being ported right in to Turkish cuisine. The food is absolutely incredible, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff very accommodating and friendly. I could not recommend this place highly enough! Will definitely be back.
A delight to eat here. Welcoming and professional, a quality restaurant and excellent food. Great service, lovely vibrant atmosphere and amazing authentic well cooked food. How a restaurant should be! We are local to the area and so happy to have found somewhere with attentive staff and an atmosphere that is difficult to find after the lockdowns. To feel like we are welcomed here as customers and nothing is too much trouble. We were a group of 4 and last minute they were able to accommodate 1 more person at our table with no problem. We will definitely be making the trip back to berwick to eat here again :-) thank you
We have had food in Turkey in differing areas many years and this is without doubt the best , the creamy chicken and moussaka 5 star plus even the feta salad outshone salads served around the UK

Superb restaurant in the ever-improving Bridge Street area. Didn't look that big from the outside but we managed to get a table even on a Saturday night. The food was superb and the menu was pretty extensive, giving plenty of choice. The service was fast and friendly and we'd be happy to go back next time we're in Berwick.
First time trying Turkish food and it did not disapoint, mixed starters were amazing followed by they best Lamb chops I have ever had. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great little place - small so would recommend booking a table! Will be a regular visitor from now on

Food is excellent, lamb shank is outstanding. Drink is a bit pricey compared to other places. Good service and food served quickly even though restaurant was quite busy. Good menu to choose from.

Really Superb food and great service, the rice is amazing and the salsa they serve with the chicken grill blows your mind it’s so good
