Food was great , I had the steak and it was cooked exactly as I like it. My wife had the scampi and said it was delicious Starters were fab and fresh (Bruschetta for me , mushrooms with Stilton for my wife)

A beautiful spot for Sunday dinner. Really nice staff sorted us out for a booking at the last minute. Came back and had a fab Sunday roast, with some of the nicest mash I've ever had. Good veggie option, not just fake meat but actual food. Tasty puddings too. The Eton mess was especially good. So glad we found this village pub on our walk out. Enjoyed it so much we came back for a pint after our big walk.

Staying in the village for a few nights. Had a wander over on the first night and was quickly made to feel very welcome by Debbie. Popped in most nights for a swifty for us and a treat for the dog who was also made to feel very welcome. A lovely country pub which, from what I can see I well run by a small but dedicated team. Can deffo recommend. Should I ever be back in the area I will absolutely call back in.

Did not stay, but the food was really decent. I'm a bit of a burger person, but my burger was very good. Nice salad and good chips. My wife's Fish and chips were very good indeed. Service friendly and loved our dog. Well done.

Great little village pub, lovely staff that give you a warm welcome, no matter what the Welsh weather is doing outside. Nice real ale, cosy fire, pool table and friendly locals. What more could you want from a pub? We'll definitely be back.

Popped into this quaint little pub on sn off chance for a snack. Had a full meal instead, the food was fresh and tasty, and moderately priced but good value, well pleased. Two roaring fires, contained in wood burners, made the bar areas warm and cosy, though very quite. Only downer was the table, it was rather sticky. Would certainly go back for another meal.

Lovely location nice and peaceful, great to sit in the beer garden on a sunny day. The lady who served us was super friendly. It's the only pub for a few miles if you're in the area, totally worth one or two miles walk if you get the weather for it.

Been here for a drink before and it was ok. Went for Sunday dinner today and it was excellent. Plenty of meat, which was tender, and nice desert too. Would definitely recommend
