Came for tea tonight with the family and had 2 very small children, food and service was spot on and other guests around us very friendly and kind regarding the children, definitely a family pub. Highly recommend �
went here today for a meal with husband,i had the gnocchi,with chicken pesto,and garlic bread,very nice,tasty,sauce was lovely,i also ordered the pate but forgot im not allowed to eat it,its one of the no no foods on my list from queens centre while having chemo,so hubby ate it,he enjoyed it,he had the cod,chips,mushy peas,special off the board,ate the lot said very tasty,i went for the bread/butter choc orange pudding,it was soooooo,nice loved it,got one to take home too,all in all a fabulous meal,the staff were great,the lady who looked after us was lovely,couldnt do enough for us,a gem,will be going again for sure,the atmosphere friendly,warm,cosy,loved it,thanks for making my day out special,see you again xxxxxxxx

We were a family of 6, including an infant of 23 months. Despite the pub being quite busy, the only young barmaid was doing an amazing job of serving drinks, taking orders, and settling bills all at the same time. Having placed our orders, the food arrived promptly, and we all enjoyed it. The pub is dog friendly, and the staff were very patient with our lively infant. Altogether, a good experience. Would go there again.

The pub had the nice cosy feel. The food was lovely. Staff were pleasant and very welcoming. Certainly a place we will be going back to.
For the price of the food the quality was amazing and couldn't be faulted. Used a 30% off voucher but even without it the food would have been cheap for how much and how good it was. The staff were friendly and the lady who served me at the bar was very helpful and brought our drinks over for us. The food arrived very quickly and was hot - had clearly been made fresh.
Toilet facilities were very good and clean.
Only thing that slightly let the evening down was how close we were to other tables, it did seem slightly cramped.
Other than that very good experience and would definitely come back/recommend.
Enjoyed a lovely meal. The salad that I had with my steak was delicious. Much better than the bog standard lettuce tomato and cucumber that you get in some restaurants. My steak was cooked just how I like it too. Phil who served us was really friendly and asked if we would be returning. Which I think we will 😊
The Warton Arms is a nice pub. It looks a real old cosy proper pub with a thatched roof, and a nice garden. It is in fact only 20 odd years old. For a food orientated pub it is better than most. Firstly the beer, it has the usual range of beers, cider and lager but also a decent choice of cask conditioned real ale. The traditional pub food is excellent, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Like any decent pub it's also has a pool table, and it has a dog friendly area in the pub. Definitely recommended.
I like the option for steak to be ‘very well done’, and it was 👌my husband fries were not very warm so we got them back to the kitchen asking to warm them up. In general the food quality improved since we’ve been last time - last time my husband burger was same size as kids burger, he wasn’t impressed. This time his burger was good size 👍
New to the area and drove passed the pub last week. It looked very inviting from the outside, nice building and plenty of activity in the beer garden.
We booked a table for yesterday evening and we’re very impressed from the moment we were greeted at the bar. It was quiet (6pm) and we could choose our table. A very pleasant young person came to our table for a drinks order. Once these arrived we ordered our food. All 3 of us were very pleased with our choices, nicely presented and the food nice and hot.
Staff very friendly, helpful professional. I think a lady there was in charge and she also was very nice. She seemed to have a good relationship with her team and said goodbye as we left.

Best cooked steak I have eaten for a long time. Friendly and accommodating staff. Good family atmosphere. Clean toilets and well designed interior with different areas for various preferences. Great to see a doggy menu , treats and a warm welcome for canines.
Would have appreciated a few more plain dishes and lower calories on the menu and I.e. to accommodate people with digestive issues/nutritional intolerance... and also light bites /smaller plates on the adult menu throughout the week suggested. All in all a good dining experience.
