The Angel has a good selection of beers including two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. It's a large two room pub with a very attractive, nice big sheltered courtyard beer garden. It's a very food orientated pub no pool table or dart board. Nice friendly helpful staff.
Called in one Saturday night, it was really quiet. Bar staff were very nice. Only had one and moved on .

First time here ,sunday lunch was good the beef was so so tender will be going back.
Excellent tasty meal and good price too. Although they were really busy the service was quick, friendly and cheerful.

Visited on a Friday lunch time, and we struggled to to get a free table. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious .Prices were very reasonable.
