Quills is a small café situated directly opposite the front of Beverley railway station. The décor is quirky and fun. It serves home-made food and drinks. You need to remember that the type of salads, sandwiches, toasties and cakes will vary from day to day but there is a good choice of all these. I tried and thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate brownie. There is also a good range of coffees and teas. I tried the former: excellent tasting coffee with plenty of hot milk at a reasonable price. I noted that shakes were available at £1.45 but I opted for a fruit smoothie which was refreshing and delicious at a cost of £3. The service was friendly and very efficient. All in all, Quills is well worth a visit.
It is certainly worth a visit for coffee and cakes. What hits you on entry is the extensive array of delicious looking and tasty cakes and pastries. We were really spoilt for choice! I had the very satisfying Rocky Robin although, as you might expect, it is a bit sweet. My daughter loved the Bakewell Tart too.
WIFI is available so look out for the code displayed prominently within the café. Great for a cuppa and a cake!

Called in for coffee with Oscar (dog friendly cafe), enjoyed the whole experience. We will definitely go back and sample what is on offer food wise; it looks good.

A quirky spot for excellent coffee and a nice atmosphere. Quills had a great vibe. The vibrant seating featured plenty of charging spots.
Unfortunately, it seems this establishment has remained dormant for years. It still appears to be in a state of temporarily closed. I don't believe I have seen any for sales signs yet, so who knows what the future holds.

Visited today for lunch. Had tea and toasted sandwiches. The food was served very quickly as were the pots of tea. There were some lovely homemade cakes on display. Food was lovely with plenty of filling in the sandwiches. Compared to other local eateries the cost of the lunch was very reasonable. The only downside was that prices were not displayed on some of the food and cake choices.

Great place. A bit busy when we were there. Nice moist cakes and great coffee. A new place so still unspoilt.
You can usually tell how good somewhere is by the cleanliness of the loos. Very clean !

Nice coffee and a nice place to sit! Prices are comparable to other coffee shops around. Will definitely pop back again sometime for coffee and maybe a cake. They looked good but didn't try one!!

Amazing food and a great selection of cakes. Fantastic for small parties but difficult for our larger group with a child.
Still had a lovely lunch though!

Good service, nice coffee. Atmosphere lacking but can be blamed on Covid 😷
